Orlando Brown has really stepped into a leadership role quickly in Cincy. He's my early betting favorite for the 2024 Bengals Walter Payton Man of the Year Candidate.

Thanks, I didn't see anything at Bengals.com
I believe he goes by Amarius, meaning... how the 'a' sounds in Mars.

I had forgotten that. You're absolutely right.

One thing that can't be denied..  He's big and ugly. Not the kind of guy you'd want to get in a fight in a phone booth with.   Hilarious

Chicago sounds rough to the maker of verse, but the one comfort we have is Cincinnati sounds worse. ~Oliver Wendal Holmes Sr.

He really does, and I like his short film segments after games with local media.

Well we can't all be good looking like you Gramps.

Mims played over 20 games, not just 8, those were his starts.

The injury prone narrative needs context. He has had 2 injuries.

1.  A 300 pound teammate drove a 300 pound defender into his lower leg, ala Volson injuring Cappa.

2.  A teammate stepped on his ankle while he was engaging a defender.

Mims has excellent pass pro technique, he is not a project in any way.  He is inexperienced which is very different.

Steelers insiders tell me he was their pick if we didn't take him.

Hopefully the kid shines and ends up a star.

Nice to see us beat the Steelers out of their choice for a change

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

Great interview. It's easy to see why Zac and company are high on him. He's confident, but not in an arrogant way. Lots of yes sirs, high GPA, used to winning on a big stage, loves the game, exactly their type. If he can translate to this level, look out.

The guy called it keeping the pocket clean or something like that. He is that athletic and long armed that DEs cannot get around him.

Jonah's strength technique is Mims slight weakness.

But Mims strength (literally strength) is far superior to any RT we have had in a very long time.

I hope Willie comes to camp and helps the kid.

He needs a bigger coney and hat!!  LMAO
They didn’t waste any time giving him the #71. Seems like we usually give the guys a #1 jersey at the intro for being our first round pick.

I always think big Willie when I see a tackle wearing it.

Now I’ll have to start thinking mammoth Mims.

The hat would have to be custom made I'd say. He's a big un!

His tape doesn’t lie. And if there was more of it he never makes it out of the top 10.

Maybe?

If I take 50 snaps and I am successful on 25 and another guy takes 500 snaps and is successful on 250 that's apples and oranges. See the math works out the same except when doing a deep dive, it does not.

Is Peanut-Brittle Jesus going to stay healthy enough to play QB for the Bengals this year or can we expect him to take a few more years off during this current mega-contract?

You should be doing that after drinking all of the Kool-Aid. Time will tell, it always does. I'm hoping he's great for Cincy but there is reason to have doubt. Get real and get over yourself.

Aren’t you one of the guys who wanted Chase Young over “Peanut brittle”? LOL
