Some winners from the Bengals’ offseason program

-Andrei Iosivas looked like the best receiver on the field this summer, with Chase and Higgins not participating. He’s combining his athleticism with much improved routes.
-Chase Brown’s ability to make plays as a pass catcher had taken a step. He’s also a lot stronger than he was last year. He’s a big piece of the RB room.
-Mike Gesicki is a big piece of the “eye candy” and versatility of the offense.
-Charlie Jones is moving around more instead of focusing on just the slot
-Amarius Mims said he has recognized the trust in him from the coaching staff as he earned first team reps. They’ve given him a lot of chances to get on the field, including a 6 OL set.
-Devin Cochran, out last year with an injury, has an interesting skill set at tackle. He’ll be a guy to watch in camp.

I know many have fallen in love with Burton, but I'm pulling for these kids.

Ah BengalBob put this in OTA's as well about Iosivas and the others. Great stuff.

Yeah, I just want the best players to play regardless of if I love the Jermaine Burton pick. Hey Yoshi and Chuck can be explosive too.

Let him rest when he wants to and give the new guys the reps that need the reps. He said he's going to listen to his body and told Burrow to do the same. It's a big nothing burger.

I'm just glad not everybody "listens to their body" and actually participates.

That will almost certainly happen, I have no doubt.

Looking forward to seeing the mammoth tackles play a bit in the preseason.

I don't know if we will see Trent Brown in the preseason with his injury history and him being proven it might be too big of a risk but I
bet we see a bit of Amarius Mims for sure. I haven't been this excited about an OL we have drafted, I think Mims could be great with his
talent. His size, athleticism and balance are extremely rare.

I agree on Mims and Brown and I pray that we can stay healthy. In addition to not risking Brown, I'd also like to see Mims get some work against starters of other teams just to get a gauge of where he is, also to help get his feet wet, and to give him a little experience in case he is called upon to play.

I'm with you that I can't remember an offensive linemen that has brought this much optimism with him.

We have so many weapons that we can put in so many places that it's making me more upset that we didn't get value out of Higgins this offseason in a trade, and, with so many weapons, including an improved run game, I don't see his value going up after this season.

Hopefully, we score so much that everyone on the offense eats and his value stays high or goes even higher.

I think Mims will get the most starts against starters at RT in the preseason of anybody probably, who else we got? Cody Ford? The first guy
that got killed in Die Hard 2? Cochran? With Tee it is what it is, I hoped we could of traded him for a high 2nd rounder but I think the Draft
was so stacked at Receiver that teams thought it was a better investment to just Draft one somewhat early and bet on them instead of an oft
injured expensive Receiver in Higgins.

We just have to hope Tee can stay healthy and have the best year of his career while we go and win a Super Bowl. If he cannot stay healthy
and has another 650 yard 6 TD season he shouldn't be that expensive next year and we might even re-sign him yah never know. My bet is on
Chase and Gesicki having monster years and Jermaine Burton shining as a rookie. Burton has great hands and is extremely explosive.
