This was McPherson's contract year, so this new contract should put him under contract through 2027.
Happy to know the K situation is covered for the next 4 years.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Nice to have him locked in.

He is an important piece, I know so are Higgins and Chase, but we forget we need 53 quality players, no one player wins a Super Bowl as the Chiefs proved when the arguably traded away the top WR in production Tyrek Hill.

It appears they are loading the deal upfront. They may assign the 2024 additional 10 million as a bonus that they can spread over 4 years, so and additional 2.5 million of cap space in 2024 leaving us with over 17 million in 2024.

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

I'm glad they're using the upfront money to have more to use later on other extensions.  That's a fair extensions too, given the other kicker deals I assumed they'd have to start at 6M/yr.

Good to have him signed for a few more years. 59/59 on kicks inside of 50 last year is just real comforting.

21-28 at 50+ in his career, and 3 of the 7 misses were >55 yards.

Comforting knowing $$$-Mac is back longer, and hopefully he has a very lengthy career until the day he retires a Bengal.

Agreed. It's nice to see the deal get done so we don't have to discuss it like the Chase situation.

Glad we extended him but I like to see him improve on 50 plus from last season was 7 of 12 after going 14 of 16 in 2022 and 2021
