That’s CRAZY

Especially since the refs called a 4th down PI against the Bengals that was game deciding.

You and I are cool, I wouldn't take a jab at you. Sorry if you took it that way.

Lol it's like meh just happy to have Bengals football back. I think I've watched enough USC vs Oregon 2023 I can call it play by play.

I bailed late any injuries?

I don't recall anything that serious.

What lost the game, was the last drive by Tampa. same defense style as last year, leave the middle of the field open and play prevent defense. Why can’t we find DB’s who can play up on the line of scrimmage, when the game is on the line.

If that is going to be are defense, it’s no better than last year.

Ref is day to day with shoulder soreness after throwing all those flags on Carman.

You are right that the last drive by TB lost the game but very clearly because the refs bailed them out with that 4th down bs DPI call that had very little if any contact and not catchable to begin with. If that wasn't bad enough moments later Burton is getting bear hugged by a TB defender down the field and that somehow doesn't get called? Makes you think they had money on TB to win.

agreed. I know people will say it's just our backups, but ig guess 1) lou can't coach them and 2) backups usually make their way to getting play time in the SB because hardly any team stays healthy, we'd be screwed.

this team just needs to ***** build the defense, you have Joe burrow on O - he will have to figure it out with whatever tools you give him, but if you have a stout D you will win the SB. And we don't. Burrow would cakewalk to multiple SBs on the Browns, Lou should take that personally.

Preseason is the time to find out if we can play man defense and guard receivers up on the line of scrimmage, when the game is on the line.
What are we waiting for to try that, the SuperBowl. Isn’t that what preseason is all about, fixing your techniques and defensive strategy.

I see nothing today that impresses me. Offense self destructs with penalties, sacks and int. defense can’t contain QB, same old pass interference penalties.

Do you mean 0 depth, or zero’s for depth.

No need to be alarmed. It's preseason. Guys are rusty and many rookies are trying to make a spot.

Looks like the defense picked up where they left off against Chicago. A nobody QB taking the team right down the field without any resistance.

Not sure that tackle was even legal by Daijahn. It looked like a horse-collar.

Erik All may be trying to cut into Sample’s minutes.

If he can block well Sample really has no real reason why he’d get a lot of minutes
