He played 9 snaps all in the late 4th quarter

This tweet has the snap counts for the game: https://x.com/JamesRapien/status/1825161132140597758

He only got 9 snaps.

He's donezo.

- Dax Hill posted a 64.1 and DJ Turner a 64.4. But considered they each only had 6 plays it is pretty academic.

- C Matt Lee posted a 68.0 total with an 84.2 pass blocking score.

- Trayvon Williams and Noah Cain posted scores of  69.2 and 58.8 respectively. Both were in the high 70s / low 80s pass blocking and the big difference was pass receiving (64.1 to 83).

- LT Jason Kirkland like Matt Lee got a lot of snaps. Like Matt Lee he also graded high (overall 73.2 pass block 86.9).

Nice to see a bunch of prospects showing promise.

Great notes for a preseason game where the other team played their starters for almost an entire half against our 2nd and 3rd stringers.

I thought Kirkland had a good night and makes me feel better about OT position.

Lee may push Hill to the PS or off our team. But Hill is also a backup guard so not likely.

I thought Williams showed some flashes, but to me he will never be a RB to be feared by any defense.

Love seeing both Matt Lee and Jaxon Kirkland playing well. Gives me some hope not all is lost with Pollack.

He was called a steal when we got him, one of those picks where people said, "Wait....why the hell is he still available? He should have gone 3 or 4 rounds ago" and, in this limited sample size, he has lived up to the hype.

Matt Lee was only available because he was not the best run blocking Center. A pure pass blocking Center, so a 1 trick pony at Miami.

If Lee can get better in run blocking we will have a special player on our hands. Cool

There are few centers with a pass blocking rating in the NFL. Frankly, I want a good running game, but I want Burrow to have a clean pocket more.

Let's hope Lee progresses in the run game, but I am not sure he would clear waivers if we tried to get him to the practice squad.

He has 2 things team covet, a great pass protector on a late round rookie contract.

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

Completely agree. What Matt Lee is good at is rare and is much harder to teach. Getting in the weight room and learning to be better at
run blocking is a lot easier to do than already being near elite in pass protection and how he slides off his blocks avoiding penalties.

UNfortunately, Matt Lee is the perfect fit center for how our team is.  It would be nice to be well-balanced, but he excels in our majority playstyle of throwing 50 times a game.  I'd be down with that.

This FO was able to get BJ Hill for Billy Price. Let's see if they can repeat the magic trick.

Sounds good to me. Carman has some talent that maybe another team might be enticed by. I just don't think his heart is in it with us.

Is the starting offense going to actually play again in Week 3? Or is 1 drive in Week 1 against a 2nd team defense all the preseason they're going to get?

I did read somewhere that no starters will play again
