This is true.

It's too bad Denver used 'orange crush' all those decades ago.  'Going all creamsicle on their asses?'  On second thought, maybe not so much.

The O comes out looking somewhat rusty, and the D shines while Money Mac salts it away in the 4th quarter.

Pats:  10
Cats:  19

Bengals come out and assert dominance on both sides of the ball and win 34-3.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

I would be disappointed in anything other than a Patriots shellacking.

Have to agree. I watched the Patriots play the Commanders and the Commanders sure seemed like the better team and the Patriots
had a lot of starters playing while the Commanders were playing backups. Nothing is a guarantee in the NFL though and we usually
come out rusty, but this year it should be different with Burrow and the starters actually playing a touch in the Preseason and looking
good.

This means there is a real possibilty that rookie Drake Maye is the starter against us.

KJ Henry the DE who sacked Brissette is now a Bengal.  He was claimed off of waivers

Patriots are without Barmore, so their best DL is not there and that should help.

Cool, I saw Henry getting some good pressure besides that sack as well, but honestly that is all I know about him...

No doubt, Barmore is good.

I think things will look better, with Burrow and company having an entire TC together. Basically an entire month and more working together.

I think the same Wedge. We haven't had a TC and Preseason like this and the last time we kind of did was the covid year and Burrow
was a rookie. I think we are in for something special especially on Offense.

Week 1 can be weird and have a feeling we’ll start off slow. Still think we win.

Bengals 20
Pats 17

Jacoby Brissett is starting week one as expected.

Today's a good day. First day of the year I get to be back in the stands!

Good, I thought Drake Maye looked good against the Commanders and we have played against Brissette before. We know the guy.

My prediction...

Bengals - 31
Colts - 23

We start a little slow but get it going on Offense in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and pull away. The score looks closer than it actually is.

So now we know who Patriots QB will be.  They are holding out The Rookie.  Either he is not ready, or they don't want him to get injured due to Blocking not up to speed start of season.  Bengals have Hendrickson and Hubbard, so they have good reason to not want the rookie trying to deal with them on the road.

I look for Patriots to still have a tough Defense, they can almost always play Defense.  On Offense however,  I don't see Patriots brand new Head Coach having everybody on the New Playbook on Day One.  This is why I like Bengals chances, and at Home in THE JUNGLE.   Bengals may look a little rusty Day One, and all NFL Teams may look rusty Week One.  It may even come down to McPherson kicking Field Goals, but Bengals should beat this brand new Head Coach coming into THE JUNGLE on Opening Day.  Cincinnati Fans go home celebrating after a WIN.

Yes, they might have a good Defense this year and it could be ahead of our Offense early which happens a lot in openers.

Bengals 20 -10. They’ll still be rusty but should be a class above the Pats.

No Barmore, no Judon.  They have big holes to fill.

If the NFL is fake, we lose to the patriots and ja'marr comes back for the chiefs and lights them up - and the NFL has 1 of the many stories they like to drum up for a season's worth of talking.
