I would much rather last week be considered a major WTF?, than a precursor for the rest of the season.

It'd be a pretty over the top version of "anything can happen in week 1" that's for sure, but I guess that would cover it.

Why is this a thread?
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Probably because JC decided to open his mouth and say the Bengals were the team to beat in the AFC

The ESPN countdown show just roasted CTB and Chase, and the Bengals as a whole.

Are you familiar with the phrase "any given Sunday"?

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Yes, I watched the Patriots come into our stadium and beat us last week.

At halftime the Patriots "top 5 defense" is getting carved up by Geno Smith (16/19, 169 yards, 1 TD/0 INT), and their "top 5 RB" Stevenson is being shut down at 9 carries for 25 yards.

Well yea, but does anyone really think what he said is true?
Seems silly.

It's obvious the Chiefs are the team to beat in the AFC.

The Cincinnati basement dwellers. Back home where we belong. Think the furniture is still here?

Mahomes is 15-3 against the AFC-N. I don't get it either. We have to overcome Zac Taylor, they got Andy.

The Chiefs are obviously the team in the AFC (and the NFL) to beat.

But Mahomes should be 1-4 against Burrow right now. There's something about us which stifles KC in a way the rest of the league doesn't seem to manage.

That's like the Browns, although their Defense can crush anyone. We see the browns in the playoffs it's game over for us IMO.

At least we have some company, and no less than the team picked by many to win the division.

Yeah there are nothing more guaranteed in life, than death, taxes and the Cleveland Browns beating us by about 30 lol.

I get why though. It's not excusable but we don't build our team in a way which will work well against the Browns. The 'good record' against the Chiefs is something I understand a bit less.
