Moss averaged 2.8 yards per carry today.    His average over 2 games is 3.7.  He isn't exactly making Mixon look bad so far.  But at the same time he has only had 21 carries.  So maybe he needs more.  IMO there is a problem with the running game and it maybe isn't the person running the ball but  lack of attempts and blocking instead.

A moral victory I suppose. If it’s come to that.

I’ll take it.

Nah, fans like you are the reason why we all suffer. The real fans know this team plays its best later in the season and we will face those
Chiefs again and will probably beat them when we play our best in their place. Would be nice to not make it so hard on ourselves though
and actually have a shot at the #1 seed to put them in our place in the AFC Championship game for once.

A lot of those were short yardage carries and Moss didn't get stuffed like Mixon always did. You have to take this into account George.

Well Mixon hasn't been getting stuffed so far in Houston.  So maybe there is a different problem with the Bengals run game.

Our team looked like the better team and they were 1 PI from beating the Champs in their place. Yoshi made a great grab, really liked
what I saw from our running game with Moss as you say, he breaks tackles with his great balance. Chase Brown was really explosive
and would of liked to see more of him. Love how Burrow finally started finding the TE's, really like Gesicki and All a ton.

Logan Wilson, Pratt and ADG played very well on Defense and Trey dominated this game and I feel sad for the guy when he had to go
out after putting out so much effort.

Need to get our DT's healthy and we can make a big run and get right back to battling for the entire thing again. Was impressed by
our fight in this game, McPherson needs to make those extra points though and we cannot have rookie DB's losing us games like that.

How did we look like the better team? They rushed it better, they pressured the QB better, they’re special teams was better. The only thing we did better was get 3 turnovers. Mahomes gifted us 2 interceptions. That won’t happen again. If Mahomes played his normal range, they win by 2+ TD.

Joe was not that good and did chase even play? I mean, I saw him act like a child on the field and on the sideline. Saw him make his QB look like a chump and his HC look like he can’t control his players.

0-2 anyway you slice it. We’ll probably win the next 2 and feel all good about it, and then lose to the browns and ravens.

Could be, I thought Mixon would do better in Houston but man he got stuffed a ton on plays that Moss picked up the first down for us today.

I like Moss and his balance. Mixon can have a great game and a bad one after, happened a lot with us and his inconsistency.

He would have a great game and then a pedestrian one with poor balance and vision. Expect the same with Houston this year unless they are
the best run blocking OL in the game, we will see.

Trey dominated this game late and Hubbard was damn good too unlike the first game. Mahomes screwed up because of our Defense.

Our team cannot do anything right if it ends in a L. I get it. Go back to the Chiefs or stealers you fake fan. Wink

If we win the Super Bowl you will find something to ***** about. We are going on a run and you will find something to ***** about like always.

It's nice -- and maybe a special disposition -- to enjoy a game whether or not the Bengals win. But in over 50 years of rooting for the Bengals, I've never been able to be happy with a loss. The best that I can do is engage myself in something else productive while watching the game. But I was so invested in this game and it truly hurt to lose again.

And I could see Joe Burrow was very upset. when the PI was called, he showed the most emotion that I have seen from him. But at least he walks away with millions after the game. And probably a supermodel. I'm left with the pain and wishing I'd rather not invested the three hours just to get a gut punch at the end.

Oh it hurts, I just thought we were going to lose regardless, and we put up one hell of a fight in the Champs place.

I was feeling apathy in the Marv years where I couldn't care less. F-'em were my feelings. I could see us still making a run at the SB this year.

These are not the Marv years Nepa. But I sure am not as invested as I should be, I have a bit of a heart of stone now.

Well, you don’t know me, but I suppose you know my posts. I’m a realist. I’ve been a Bengals fan since 2002. I’ve been reading the boards since 2002. And I’ve been burned so many times by the bengals. I don’t complain, I call things like I see them.

This team played better. But they’re not a superbowl team this year. And I was hopeful they could be. But I saw their deficiencies this off season and didn’t believe they improved enough to make a post season run. My gripes were not getting better at DL and run D and also the O line. We signed T Brown and I said that wasn’t good enough. I stand behind that, although they’ve played better.

I love chase. He’s my favorite player. I have him in both my fantasy leagues even though he wasn’t Best available. But he was an ass today and caused us field position, while also laying a dud. JJ is doubled ever single week and still puts up #s. So far this year, chase has been pretty silent. And Joe burrow has been pretty bad.

I love Hendrickson and can never say anything bad about him. I defended him when he wanted more money, because I think he deserves it.

I’m not a Steelers fan. I’m not a bandwagon fan. I’m not a Homer. I’m a guy who spends way too much time on here, and way too much of my emotional currency on the Bengals. I want it to be worth it. And it’s not. It wasn’t last year either. The Bengals need to make a superbowl to be successful in my eyes. I wouldn’t say that about any Palmer or Dalton team. Burrow is special. But he hasn’t been the same since the Super Bowl. Im sorry you don’t like my posts or pessimism. I also don’t like peoples blind optimism like everything is okay because we only lost by 1.

If this was the Marv years we would be 2-0 or 1-1 as he was way better than Zac in September.

It's January when Zac is better than Marv.

The close ones sometimes hurt more. The mistakes are more magnified.

I am a bit surprised the final score was that close.

Oh waaaaaa.... it's a 17 game season. Burrows Bengals have been taking 3-5 games to get going each year. It was game two, played without Tee, and they lost to the reigning champs by 1 point. Wallow in your own misery.

KC looked really good against the Ravens. I know many on here can’t move on from the constant slow starts and losing to the Pats. But they got beat at the gun yesterday on a PI by a rookie. Going and winning in KC against the SB Champs 3-4 years doesn’t happen often.. Let’s see how they do this year.I think it’s their best team. We almost beat them with a depleted DL and no #2 WR Tee Higgins. My buddy who played at Oklahoma State in the early 2000’s watches the NFL and objectively. He’s a Falcons fan.But he pays attention to the Bengals as we kind of rival. He wasn’t/isn’t a big Chase fan right now.Says he doesn’t look like he’s balling out or looks disinterested. He’s been a fan. I think the negativity is unwarranted about the team after yesterday. Warranted versus the Pats.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

I mean they buckled down the second half in the run game. They did it w/o Chase having a big game and w/o Tee. I thought everybody said we just have an offense geared towards those two. This staff and team when healthy has gone toe to toe with KC and is 2-2 essentially. Who else can say this? But the staff sucks. Like you said look at that predictions thread. Where are all those guys?
