Not burrow, chase, Higgins, Brown, Hendrickson? Yeah all we need to turn the season around is a bunch of below average to average players to get healthy again.

This defense is flawed and it’s not fixable this season, and I don’t think they will fix it in the off-season.

The offense is clicking just fine. But they have to score on every possession until the defense gets better, so yes, that depends on Rankins and Hill getting better.

Yeah, we get Hill, Rankins, Jenkins, Murphy and Hubbard all healthier and on the field so the offense does not have to score on every possession.

Your theory makes sense. But hill and rankins added to any team in the nfl, doesn’t push them to SB contender. Hill and rankins aren’t going to save the season. We’re not sitting here going “if only we had hill and rankins, we would be unstoppable”. Those 2 guys don’t get consistent pressure on the QB and they’re not going to dramatically improve our rush D.

This defense is bad on all levels. We have no one besides Hendrickson who can get a sack, no one can stop the run, LB are very very average, safeties are pretty bad and can’t tackle, corners can’t cover and can’t tackle.

If we didn’t have burrow and chase we’d probably be getting a top 3 pick next year.
