Florio predicts 4-0 over next 4

Yeah, I just don’t see it. The DL is awful, the safeties are awful, their CB’s have been wildly inconsistent (and now Dax is out for the season). The only help they have coming is Sheldon Rankins - who was pretty mediocre even before he went out anyway. It’s truly grim on that side of the ball.

Florio is late. I called the 4 game winning streak on Monday.

D Line was much improved against Baltimore regardless of what happened in overtime. Holding King Henry to 41 yds. in regulation play is a vast improvement from where they were the first three games.

Also helped that they sat Henry and ran Justice Hill a good portion of the game.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

They gave up 175 yards rushing. And the only reason Henry didn’t go off for more is because the Ravens were down by double digits 3 different times in the game, and Lamar had to throw. Which he had absolutely no problem doing despite him basically running a dink and dunk offense in their previous 2 wins.

Exactly this. And also, it was clear the Bengals came out first half to defend the run... good idea, and they did a good job not letting the Ravens run all over them first half.

But as John Harbaugh himself told us all at half time... we were giving them run defence looks, and that meant they had big play opportunities in the pass, which they just needed to take advantage of. They then did so for an entire half of football.

We'll give up 0 yards rushing to Barry Sanders if we defend the pass as well as we did on Sunday. I do think the D Line was better with BJ Hill back in there though.

We are back to being the Bungles.

Even our best players are making bad plays that cost us games. Burrow with the fumble/TD vs KC and the pick vs the Ravens. Chase with the KC penalty and had a crucial goal line drop another game.

In addition to Anthony's penalty vs KC and the bungled snap vs Baltimore and Hudson's fumble vs NE. And a crappy D that cannot cover or rush the passer or stop the run.

And the terrible coaching from Taylor.

This team never comes up clutch. Winning 4 in a row is a pipe dream, IMHO. If we get in a tight one, we'll blow it.

Who would play defense for that to happen?

I typically try to watch games until they hit 8 losses.
I'll still try to watch games (unless it's a blowout) but I see the Eagles puttin a hurt on the Bengals defense with Hurts, Barkley, Goedert, and Smith. And the Browns always seem to have the Bengals' number because of their rushing attack. Nick Chubb will likely be back by that Bengals game, which will bolster that ground attack for the Browns.
2-2 is my conservative prediction, 3-1 optimistic.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Florio don't know shit, but I hope he is correct here...

This sounds more like a jinx to me coming from the stealer fan that Florio is.

BJ Hill, Trey Hendrickson, Sam Hubbard, Myles Murphy, Sheldon Rankins, Logan Wilson, Germaine Pratt, ADG, CTB, DJ Turner, Battle etc.

Not like we don't have good players and Kris Jenkins has looked decent and McKinnley Jackson could surprise once he gets enough snaps.

My God, some of you act like all these guys just forgot how to play Defense, most of these guys have been banged up and this same Defense
made Mahomes have one of his worst games of his career this season.

I'm not sure if there's any team in the league with a better offense. If the defense just plays like thr 20th or better I feel like we could win out. The thing is I don't think the defense will even get close to that good. The Bengals will have a punchers chance in every game this year though.

It's just a matter of time before we start to pick up more wins. Don't jump ship just yet, Burrow's playing like a Top 3 QB right now. If you don't agree with me, just check his stats and see it by yourself. We'll get there.

He brings up a good point about the Jessie Bates / Dax Hill decision.

Bengals kind of screwed that one up.
Bates was a big part of our playoff success.

Still think they can make the playoffs, but they need to start learning from their mistakes.
Lou called it out as a mistake if they let it happen and they did.

The way we played this year I would say much Trey love and the rest are bodies in positions. They have done zero to prove otherwise.

Who cares if they win 4 straight? Team is absolutely awful on defense and it’s nit going to magically get better. Should get to draft at around 15. Awesome!

Logan Wilson has played very well this season, but yeah, the rest have to prove themselves.

I don't expect them to play this bad the entire season, I find it unrealistic to think they do play this bad from here on out.

Logan and Pratt are one of the top linebacker duos as of before last Sunday.

What defense? Our defense has turned into part of the other team's offense.
