Lunch Pail victories
#1
What we got Sunday night was a lunch pail victory. Workmanlike, not very exciting, a slog to watch and as Burrow said "ugly".

These games happen. What we need (and I was glad to see) is to show we can win the ugly games. Winning ugly is still winning.

Our next game is the Stains. I'm hoping we play a complete game and dominate on both sides of the ball but as long as it is a W I'll take ugly again. And let's not be the team Watson gets well against.

Any type of Win at this point is positive. Got to find a way to beat a Browns team on it's last wheel.

Going into the Eagles game at home (White out) I like our chances if we escape Cleveland.

They'll need to display that same workmanlike attitude next week, because the Browns will be scrapping their asses off to try and stay out of last place.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Crazy as it is to say this about a 1-5 team, but beating Cleveland would be big for the Bengals in my opinion (outside of the practical benefit of a +1 in the W column I mean). It can't escape the players that we've had our arses handed to us by the Browns the past few years. Beating them would show that we're able to win against something which we've had next to no success against. It's a real all or nothing game, but in my opinion it's a good game to have at this point as a win could really catapult us in terms of momentum.

Damn rights, these wins are needed and happen to us every now and then. These lunch pail victories show that grit we need to play
with to get back to .500. One win at a time. Now on to Queefland, we need our revenge on these guys as they have owned us in this
Joe Burrow era, Joe knows it.

Cleveland is getting Chubb back Sunday. Probably means bad things since Bengals never beat Cleveland when it matters

I did hear in the Cleveland game yesterday, they said it was a possibility he could return this week, but I haven't seen anything official.
