I thought i read Adams could go up to a #2, the interesting piece is will the Jets be able to sign Adams after the season, so the deal might backfire especially since Jets still might not make the playoffs, so if Adams walks at end of year, you just gave up a 3rd or 2nd round pick for nothing..

Agreed. This is the point to really consider. 

Unless we get a pick six or turnovers leading to FGs, I am not sure we can score the needed 20 points to beat them. Could be a 20-17 or 19-16 game.

Adams can go up to a 2nd only if he makes All-Pro (1st or 2nd team) or is active for the AFC Championship or Super Bowl.  I think those trades for Adams and Cooper are basically steals -- with the exception of the monetary aspect, since the Jets assume Adams' entire remaining salary. But if you are going all in on the AFC Championship or Super Bowl....

Yep, just wish this Franchise would make trades like that once in a while. Would make our entire fan base sit up and go OKAY.
