Been playing Metaphor from Atlus, makers of the Persona series.
It is very good. Definitely not "Fantasy" Persona. While many of the same basic elements are there, combat, character dev, theme, atmosphere, etc are all very different.
This is what I will be playing until DA:V comes out.

Wish Square Enix would remake the Parasite Eve games, or even make a third and continue on with that franchise!

I currently only play sports stuff and a turn based RPG, Darkest Dungeon, because I have no first person shooter skills, and am an old man. Are ther any turn based RPG's out there that are more dungeon oriented than Japanimation? I was not a fan of splitting than way, away from dungeon crawlers, and am not sure what I should be looking into,
I may be a dinosaur, but thought I would ask. I do Master of Monsters and Nobugaga's Ambition, Mater of Magic, as well, to test my age... lol

You should check out the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters if you enjoy turn based. Octopath Traveller 1-2 are good. Tactics Ogre Reborn. Im giving Baldurs Gate 3 another go since it’s been updated and friends keep pushing me to play it with patience.

I'm back in Battlefront 2. I love those brawls in multiplayer and the game is really smooth.
I'm not the best but not the worst indeed.
Some cheaters sometimes but you don't wait much to find a lobby.

Great advise, just tend to go against the Japanimation, anime stuff.
I am enticed by Baldur's Gate.

Those are JRPGs and some of the best games ever created, opinionated though! Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Octopath Traveler. Just listen to the OT2 soundtrack and you will have trouble not wanting to play it!

I'm hearing other people playing Battlefront 2, did they re-release it or something?

Did another playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2. Been about 4 years and it still looks great on Series X, even though it's never been optimized for it. I did most of the side missions and stuff, just a casual run thru (unlike my 100% completion playthrough years ago) and reminded me just how great games can be.
Gave up on Kingdom Come, thankfully only 3.99 when I got it. I can see why it got good reviews and people liking it, but the side quest grinds weren't my cup of tea. And I didn't like the combat either, so maybe go back to it at some point, but doubt it.
Giving up on EA FC 25 (Fifa 25). After 12 years now of playing it, this has been by far the worst version of Ultimate League for me which is saying something. Those games have never really been good for years now, as its all about pleasing the shareholders with pushing $$$ store packs more than ever. Next year probably will get it on Black Friday for half off to just get my ''football'' fix in. This is also soon after I have pretty much am done with Destiny after 10 on/off years now too.
I'm currently in limbo with games. Games I used to be pretty crack in like CoD and Fifa years ago, now I don't even care about. I might do another play through of Witcher 3, or another great game from years back.

I will need to try BG3. I liked Mass Effect type games a ton, those are probably my favorite after graphics adventure games. My "best games I ever played" are based on memories, of which need to be Super Mario World co-op with my siblings growing up - and most Zelda games.

96% of the 589 864 Steam reviews are overwhelmingly positives ...
Worth every cent even at full price. The game is massive and the replayability is total.

I wonder if BG3 is the type of game that is playable on steam deck. Checking...if the text is too small it won't be, but I have a feeling it's the type of game that is almost meant to be played on there?
At the minimum I can stream it from an NVIDIA PC to the steam deck so it doesn't try to use the internal CPU/GPU to execute (low performance).

Nope, still a last gen game w no remaster. I think the recent surge in play is due to the failure of the recent OG Battlefront remasters and nostalgia. That and there really is no other current multiplayer SW games worth playing. Outlaws is crap, TOR is an ancient MMORPG, and Squadrons was assssssss. Jedi Survivor is the only recent SW game really worth playing but it’s single player.
