He was pulling the wrong thing when he woke up that morning Ninja

Not surprised. He's always hurt. I doubt he gets paid as much as he wants next year because of how often he's injured. He'll still get a nice bag, but he's good for missing 5-8 games a season at this point.

Can’t extend a guy like him. I wish it was different, but he’s just too fragile.

Problem is.... They suck without him.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

He's getting franchise player paycheck from the Bengals now.

If Tee is out today, I unofficially change my pick to Eagles winning 24-17.

It's gonna suck if he's out for sure. And I agree on outcome

Game time decision, hopefully it's a ploy but I would say it isn't. I wonder what the lineup will be if he isn't playing?

I'm sure it will be Yoshi and Irwin

They are WR3's at best.

I don't care how much of a punk Burton is...there are plenty of them in the NFL.....this isn't a popularity contest....... give him a shot!

We are trying to fill some big shoes here and win, not be the nicest team in the NFL.

I think there is a good probability of seeing Burton more this game.
There is a difference though in being a punk and not knowing the route tree.

You're mixing up two things there. They suck to start the season with or without him. That's just Zac football. In Week 1&2 games where Higgins plays 50%+ of the snaps, the Bengals are 1-5.

I normally point out when people get too fiddily with stat criteria, but for the sake of this very specific point, if you look at non-Week 1&2 games where Joe Burrow plays 50%+ but Tee Higgins plays <50% they are 4-1.

the team does not "suck " without him..but what I cannot understand is that they have had plenty of opportunity to find receivers ( 2 and 3)  that can consistently catch passes on a regular basis and this is rather disconcerting.

specific to certain positions..I like the way the team slowly integrates new players..But..I am totally lostregarding the receiverposition..there are a boatload of players both in the NFL and coming out of college that can consistently run routes and catch a football on a consistent basis and the bengals dont have stability at those positions..I dont understand the difficulty

I have always enjoyed your posts and as funny as they are sometimes you seem to have great football insights..Why is our team having such difficulty  finding and maintaining ( number 2-3 receivers)..I watch Yoshi..his route running is more than ok and he ca certainly catch a football..Burton has physical talents  etc...It should not be that hard..And I agree with you..we should not extend Higgins

its hard to find great WR talent in rounds 3, 4, and 6 (Burton, Charlie Jones, Yoshi)

if they were truly serious about finding a Boyd or Higgins replacement, they should use a 1st or 2nd

Yes. That's probably a more accurate representation. I still stand by the idea that it's a net negative for the team when he doesn't play, and it's gonna be more than a slight problem if he's not brought back. For a team with a reputation for being good at drafting WR, we've got an athlete that we all HOPE can become a good receiver, and a guy who only slipped in the draft because of character concerns (who can't get on the field) waiting in the wings. Chris Henry slipped in the draft for character concerns too... He somehow managed to contribute from the jump.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.
