I don't think he's 100%. Either physical or mental. He scrambled well today, but he hasn't had the execution he once had. He's still a top 10 QB, but something feels off with him. This dink and dunk play calling is horrid. Now, I'm positive he has the authority to audible, but is he? Has he lost his drive? Is he studying the films like he used too? I have to be serious, when he started with that haircut and dye, the catwalk with the open shirt, and whatever shenanigans he was doing before the season, I started to get concerned about his focus.
Todays Burrow is not the Burrow from 2yrs ago.
Burrow's interception today: My opinion has nothing to do with that. QB's eventually throw IT's. But did you see the drive or spark in his eyes that we normally see? Has his will to win at all cost diminished? Please tell me I'm wrong. Dude is making mad money and we need production for every cent.
If we don't start winning, I see Chase gone. We're not going to pay Chase if the team is not clicking and we have a mad chance at a run.

We need a Defense and a real offensive coordinator.
We also need a WR2 that can stay on the field.
Whether Burrow is 100% or not the offense is too inconsistent to even have a real chance with this defense

Part of that could be that it probably isn't lost on Burrow, that this team simply does not have what it needs to to win it all. We all see it, and I'm sure he knows that too in his heart of hearts. Burrow/Chase/Tee is not enough on its own to win a Super Bowl, you need a defence that can have any impact on a game as well. When things aren't going well, he's likely aware that he can't rely on the other facets of the team to turn it around.
I'm also sure the years of taking a pasting must have some impact at some point.
It shouldn't be forgotten that he was on MVP track in terms of his season numbers only a few weeks ago. Certainly dipped recently though.

Burrow has been fine. He's the only reason why we've won any games IMO. If we had ANY other QB this year I'm not even sure if we would have as good of a record as we do.

Well he's said himself he's not quite back to a 100% but he still looks pretty good. He's probably feeling all of the pressure of the defense struggling and the running game vanishing add to that Tee not being able to stay healthy.
To me it's still just situational football from Zac that's the real killer and cap to this team. When you fail to pick up a 2nd and 2 with a run you double down by bringing an extra OL guy in the formation? Why not throw it or spread it out to throw and try and run out of that. I knew they were gonna run and i knew they would get stopped. I also had a very good idea of the play on 4th down. Just not up to par and it will always hold us back.

And he broke up with his long time girlfriend for some social media influencer if I remember correctly. Not sure if that is an issue or not.
He probably see's what we all have known for decades. It's hopeless under the Brown family. And he has been completely abused and repeatadly injured. Probably watches lots of games with competent owners and coaches. Other QB's with 5 seconds to throw all the time, etc, etc. Players are not robots. At some point you just give up. Not saying Burrow has, but this franchise let him get destroyed and the lines still suck.

Look Burrow is a top 10 QB but he also seems in his career he is better with a lead than coming from behind he plays much better with a lead than behind... Crazy stat, he has not had a come from behind or 4th quarter game winning drive since Dec of 2022 (acording to pro football reference0 and only has 5 4th quarter comebacks or 7 game winning drives in his career.. that is 11% of his games...... Burrow is a better QB than Dalton but Dalton had 23% of his games with Bengals had come from behind 4th quarter drives/game winners . That is not why we lost today but I would think he would be better in leading us to wins in the 4th for sure..

Because he knows the defense , kicker and coaches are ass. What's the point?

People were not talking about the wrist when he was torching defenses and racking up the TDs, now it is back, I guess.

Burrow was fine lay off the weed.
The defense made Zero plays ;I believe forced zero punts and forced zero turnovers. The offensive line can't get 1 freaking yard on a short yardage play and our 3rd wr can't make plays on consistent basis.

The Bengals offense wins when they make big plays. They lose when they dink and dunk it.
Most of the time, they dink and dunk it.

Joe Burrow has been the only consistently good player on the entire roster this season. He has had good and bad moments, of course, but he’s at least reliable and gives his best effort. I used to say I hope Burrow would play like a Manning someday — but the Manning he reminds me of is Archie. He was the only good player the Saints had.

Dalton had better defenses on his side and better coordinators... I would think that helps lead to 4th quarter comebacks.
I said what I said.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Something that really pissed me off. Was the runs in overtime against Ravens and then Zac having the nerve to say he called a pass that Burrow checked out of at the line. The pass play was with an extra lineman and Chase as the sole WR with the coverage doubling him. Dude can just not read the game and call the plays that are required. He's had way too long to think that this is something that will ever get fixed.

Archie was stuck on a hopeless franchise, Eli would have been but he pulled the "crybaby diva" move and refused to go to a underachieving franchise, and Peyton was one of the best QBs ever and he won a single SB with the Colts due in no small part to getting to face Rex Grossman in the SB. Being great isn't always enough to get it done.

Well the point is your are behind in the 4th and losing or tied so behind not ahead with your defense (better or not).. that does seem to be a glaring number.. also Burrow has had better WRs than Dalton.... are you not surprised by the great difference?

Exactly so!
Mike Brown is still of the opinion that having a star quarterback is all one needs to compete and he is wrong. A franchise quarterback is great to have but if he is under pressure, has zero complementary run game, or his defense leaks like an unchanged diaper, he will fail.
I think the world of Joe Burrow. He deserves better.
