Burrow!

Zac and Lou are receiving well-earned criticism but we need to put the spotlight on Dan Pitcher too.

Joe is throwing to a miscast of playmakers, behind Chase. It’s unsustainable. He hits iosivas in the numbers and it hits the turf. There is no confidence behind Chase and Higgins. Mike had a good game, but the WR room is booty.

The WR’s behind Chase had 7 targets and 2 catches. Not one WR, other than Chase, had more than 1 catch.

I would love to have a sterling shepard on this team.

Then you move to RB, where we have two backups. I like Chase browns explosiveness, but it’s too inconsistent to get in good down and distance situations, and then it’s 3 and 7, Chase is doubled so you are forced to toss the ball to backup RBs, Practice Squad WRs or our Tight ends.

Part of this is bad playcalling, but this group is just not very talented, relative to the NFL.

When something goes wrong and he goes to the sidelines, he sits there away from everyone. Get up Joe, talk to your line, talk to your backs and receivers. Act like a leader… assure your team mates. Show a bit of emotion.

Burrow has great leadership. He's not going to coach the team and come up with a coherent scheme and draft good players.

You just can't overcome a bad staff and bad drafting.

Yep. Im a bland offensive system that doesn't scheme guys open. It relies on freakish athletes to make plays.

Burrow, man... His body language says everything. These busted ass, coaches,  kicker and defense finally froke the man. Couple that with all the injuries and hes probably disguted and/ or just dont care anymore. This is Carson Palmer all over again.

Don't get throwing behind the sticks either, especially when they only needed 2 yards to begin with

I'm so done with the offense, I hope they dump Zac, and start investing on the defense. A mediocre offense and top notch defense should get us a super bowl. Best QB and WRs and QB doesnt get us anywhere. The only times we've been successful is when the defense is playing well, when it's not, even the offense cant get any wins on their own.

When the other side routinely scores 30+ points, the QB is the least of your worries.

Lack of defense and a running game makes the offense desperate to pass the ball. Couple in a uninspired offense game plan, and this is what we get. Would like to see them use the TE's more.

MIke and All got 10 targets yesterday. All receivers not named Chase got 7. The tight ends were much more successful than our backup WRs. That said, it won’t matter how much you get them involved

The best teams in the league still run the ball on offense and stop the run on defense. That’s Football 101 and it hasn’t changed since Bronko Nagurski played for Da Bearsss.

The plan always seems to be just beat em with talent... We're lacking in that department at the moment.

He's playing at an MVP level lol. What are you people even talking about? Did you see that 3rd and 22 play?

EVERYTHING falls on him this year. Everything. He's dejected because he knows the rest of this team sucks. He's being Bengalized right before our very eyes.

Case in point the 4th down play to Chase. To expect him to make something out of nothing right there was ridiculous.

But we just need more targets to Iosivas, right Weezy?

You keep flip flopping on the talent on the roster, specifically in the WR room.

Just this week, in order (paraphrasing)

WR3 thread - Iozovas stinks
injury thread - Higgins out, but that’s ok bc more targets to Mike and Yoshi.
Today - the rest of the team sucks.

FWIW, I generally really like your analysis, but I’m lost with where you stand on this. It’s most being hot takey for the sake of being hot takey.

Was the runs in overtime against Ravens and then Zac having the nerve to say he called a pass that Burrow checked out of at the line. The pass play was with an extra lineman and Chase as the sole WR with the coverage doubling him. Dude can just not read the game and call the plays that are required. He's had way too long to think that this is something that will ever get fixed.

I turned the game off after our 1st drive (we scored a td), we were in shotgun every play. You can't win when you can't run from shotgun. I'd rather see the 09 offense than this one.

The truth is how many real issues do we as fans not see or know about because Joe and JaMarr are good enough to cover up for the lack of coaching ability

Worst thing about this season really. Wasting the one time Burrow is actually fit and healthy to go.

Well on course to wasting his career too.

I never said he needed to coach.. and im not downing Burrow. He is the leader. But when something goes awry, he goes and sits by himself. I just want him to show more emotion.

I get Palmer and Dalton were not like that either. But a little change in joe’s philosophy might be needed too.. maybe not.. i dont know..

I'm talking more so about the defense when im saying "the rest of the team sucks". It doesn't matter how good the offense is if we can't get stops, which is what has got to be frustrating.

And I've been harping and pumping Yoshi for awhile, but I've seen enough. He's not good.
