A stud RB fixes a bunch of problems

Bengals' YPC since 2014 in chronological order:
4.4, 3.9, 4.0, 3.6, 4.7, 3.9, 4.1, 4.0, 3.8, 4.0. One outlier...2018's 4.7 YPC. The rest are rather pedestrian, regardless of staff and even who was toting the rock. The ones pointing to IOL seem to be correct. Even with Zeitler and Boling, you had that turd Bodine getting shoved into everyone's laps. "Better send those refunds..."

Stop embarrassing yourself Lucius. Mixon was not good last year, or the year before, especially compared to this season in his new offense. Moss isnt good in this offense either.
You arguing the wrong thing and look stupid doing it. I dont have a lot of tolerance for ignorance, so if you cant grasp the original comment, which was about the offense - not comparing Mixon & Moss, just move along and make a dumb argument about someone else's comment that you do not comprehend.

This^ and ownership didnt want to pay him for whatever reasoning (age, production, off-field issues). Great reasoning to move on as far as they are concerned.

We had a stud rb. His career was “bunglized”.
There is no doubt in my mind, that Mixon, if drafted to a half decent franchise, that catered to his style of play, would have been a HALL OF FAMER. Barring no significant injury. Yes, i said it. Look at the numbers hes putting up on a different team, at 28 years old. A 28 year old RB is considered old as dirt. A stud running backs does nothing for you in the nfl. A stud RUNNING SCHEME does indeed fix alot of problems for you in the nfl. How many “stud RBs” did new england have? None, you could plug in any RB buried on their depth and they were effective. Frank pollacks job security is more secure than marvin lewis and fort knox combined.

I’m your Mixon binocular guy. All these things are true. Mixon has a better line and is responding. The Bengals were tired of his off field issues but that was minor. He limited them with his blocking. He was older. They want more explosiveness and went with Chase Brown. Moss was insurance. They saved money. End of story.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Mixon is having a good time running in a scheme suited to his skills - we predicted that. The problem is Zac's "scheme" is both OL unfriendly and makes effective running difficult. We don't run enough and are in the gun too much was well as being utterly predictable. It loads the deck against the linemen and the RB.

Joe Mixon 12/86 with 6:41 left second quarter. Herbie “Mixon looks the best in 7 years” lol

He is a powerful downhill runner that can punish tacklers. Instead of being that, he tried to be a dancing maching like Le'Veon Bell and emulated him. That's not who Mixon is, and he always got caught.

Mixon averaged 15 carries a game last year this year he's averaging 25 carries a game. The Bengals never commit to the run and give up on it too soon.

Asking myself, was Mixon good last year and was Moss good last year and replying to your incorrect answer. I don't think Mixon was great or even good last year, but, as it's been made clear, by no stat or metric could you call 2023 Moss good in comparison to 2023 Mixon. Once again, I comprehend the comment, the example that you used to highlight your point is just incorrect and you're too stubborn to admit that or you're too dumb to comprehend that.

The posters in here blaming the blocking scheme and OL. Perine produced in this offense with a worse line than what we presently have.

This season Mixon is averaging 4.8 yards a carry and has his longest carry of his career at 59 yards. He’s gained over a 100 yards his last 4 games. At Cincy he avg. around 4.0 yards a carry the last 5 years at Cincy. He’s averaging around 1 yard more per pass reception. Perine has 13 carries at 3.5 yards at KC. Just FYI.

Really wanted CMc, Henry or Barkley. I know the injuries were a concern, but Mikey buoy wasn’t about to pay that kind of dough. None would matter with this D anyway. Who-Dey Another Day.

Nothing will ever change with our running game in Taylor’s offense.
