If I’m Jamarr Chase I’m not resigning if Tee is gone
#61
There's almost zero chance of the Bengals being able to extend Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Trey Hendrickson, and possibly BJ Hill in one off-season.

As for the OP, Tee probably has nothing to do with Chase's decision to sign here. He's not going to see Tee leave and be like "that's it, I am going to go catch passes from Bryce Young!"

I'm pretty sure Chase will be here no matter what so long as..
1. We offer him the money.
2. We have Burrow.

He's not going to both move and go to a worse/unknown QB situation if he can just stay in his current home and get 4yr/$145m ($90m guaranteed at signing) to keep catching passes from Burrow.

Agree on all counts.

Chase is going no where and Tee is as good as gone. I just hope what we saw from Chase Brown and Yoshi today keeps on rolling.

3 of them would be just fine.

Iosivas had 1 catch on 4 targets for 10 yards. He was also the reason for the pick 6.

Kid is money in the red zone, I’ll give him that, but he’s a liability between the 20’s.

Touchdowns DO matter. But completely agree.

Burton showed up in PJ's today is what I heard. Man, WR's always let me down. Whatever

He is suffering from the same issue people said about him last year, he struggles making contested catches.

Yoshi has not impressed this year but he was not the reason for the pick 6. That's just silly

And Jermaine Burton always makes contested catches and he shows up in PJ's. Bengals fans always get the short end of the stick. Mellow

They matter more or less depending on who you're trying to support or not in a discussion.

Not really, if a Bengals player I didn't like starts scoring Touchdowns I start liking the guy. Mellow

He literally left his man completely unimpeded

Did you just post a link that states "First mistake for Joe Burrow" to assert why Yoshi was the reason for the pick-6?

The CB read the play, and Yoshi had no time to block him. Somebody besides Yoshi gave that play away.

I suppose Yoshi could have dove and grabbed the CB, but it's obvious the play design was for the DB to bit on the out that Yosho starts

Dude has <200 yards despite playing like 80% of the snaps, but sure, people have an agenda for not supporting him. Because reasons.

Im going to blame Zac Taylor for that pick 6.  Zac is so predictable in his play calling the CB knew exactly what was coming and jumped the route before Iosivas could do much about it.  Zac does such a poor job calling plays and disguising stuff.  This is just another example of his buffoonery as a playcaller.

It's quite possible. We tried that play twice today. The first got blocked by Maxx and was almost Intercepted. The 2nd resulted in a pick-6.

We had the game won, we shoulda just got the new RB some carries, but some would be upset about not being aggressive.

As pissed as Burrow was, I'm pretty sure he blamed himself.

“Obviously saw that on film”

I’d say Zac was at fault for going to that well too often, Iosivas was at fault for not blocking, and Joe for throwing it. Although, Joe clearly didn’t expect dude to fly in there untouched.

I've seen people in his age group show up to job interviews at the PD (Suit and Tie) in their pajama pants. And HR said they cannot be docked for it. It's part of that generation, no self-respect, I don't like it, but it is what it is. I don't care what he wears to work as long as he works. He's not.

THIS is why you get guys as good as Chase extended ASAP.

It is a real possibility Chase doesn’t even wanna come back now

I don’t think Iv ever seen a NFL close its own championship window so badly

It’s like they got that taste of winning in 2021 and said “welp that’s enough of that”

If we really thought the fix to losing guys with Reader, Tee and Bates is drafting guys with mid level picks then idk what to say cause that means we’re idiots
team has been plagued with injuries this year..Burrow was hurt last year..Team has made significant progress the past couple of years and is considered a good club..Cincinnati is a great town ..Burrow is a great quarterback....quit with the negativity

I checked into the Game Day thread late in the 4th and saw people saying, "just run the ball." I'm like, is amnesia contagious because the last time we ran the ball to close out a win people lost their collective crap over the calls.
