Post your realistic targets/dreams, let’s revisit and see if any moves are made and if we are close.
Tyler Boyd for a 7th
Marshon Lattimore for a 3rd
Rhamondre Stevenson for a 4th
Obviously not all of these will happen.

Seeing how the Bengals have traded for a player twice in 52 years now, I predict a big fat nothing happening. (I've seen this number floating around out there last few days now so I'm assuming its true as its on the internet)
However there are apparent rumors the Bengals are making calls around seeing whats out there. But I have to think they are getting hung up on as the other teams think they are getting prank called.

I predict nothing happens.
We might add the RB FA, who has been hurt. I think formerly Philly.

Joe Burrow comes out at the end of the trade deadline and calls out the organization and says, "You Suck! Trade me!"

2. They say they called around but the asking prices were way too high.
3. They lose to the Ravens because a Trenton Irwin/DJ Ivey-caliber player who shouldn't be on the field makes a big mistake.
4. We talk about how we can still totally go 6-1 and make the playoffs.

I'll go out of left field and say they trade a Day 3 pick for Chase Young.
While CY isn't the guy many thought he would be, he could add some veteran juice as a rotational guy to help Hendrickson and Hubbard.
CY is also still only 25 years old and would come cheap given how New Orleans structured that deal.
Cherry on top - He would come back to Ohio and there would be some excitement for the former Buckeye.
I don't think Bengals will trade for a RB or OL, but I could see them dip into some dudes who might still be available in FA.
I've mentioned some OT targets to help provide insurance, but for RB maybe someone like Damien Harris if Moss is out for many games.
He could be good to supplement Chase Brown, who showed what he can do as the primary RB.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Bengals trade a 6th RD pick to Dallas for Ezikel Elliot and a 7th RD pick.
People are going to explode on the FO but realistically not a lot of teams are in selling mode and are not going to admit that the season is over in week 10 of the football season.

If I were to suggest some realistic:
Devin Singletary for a conditional 6th

Chase Young for a 5th
Marathon Lattimore for a 3rd
Arden Key for a 5th/6th

History says we either do nothing or make a marginal trade.
As for a dream trade, straight up trade Tee Higgins for Lawrence from the Giants or Crosby from the Raiders.
Then add CB Lassiter for a 4th round pick we get their 5th round pick.
We need to upgrade 2 positions CB and DT/DE.
Burrow should get involved and shave a few million off his deal the length of his contract so we can surround him with a much defense.
Time is ticking for any moves via trade.
I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

Their shopping list is pass rush help and a pass protecting RB. Tomorrow we'll see if they do anything.
