I'd keep Iosivas.  He's a good 3rd or 4th option considering the kid didnt play football until he went to college.  I've seen improvement.

As much as I love Karras, I think he needs to slide inside to G and let Matt Lee take over next season.  I would ditch Volson and put Karras in that spot.

I'd also go out and sign a couple IOL.  You need that to be a strength.

I'd keep Tycen Anderson, dudes been one of the bright lights on a shitty season for the Special Teams crew.  At least they found Rekhow as well.  Now maybe the Bengals can send McPherson's ass to a shrink and figure out wtf is going on upstairs.

I think the pieces you have on defense all fit.  They are just missing 1 big body to take up space in the middle and Rankins didnt fill that spot this year so I'd cut him and find someone who can do it better, then find another guy who can rush the passer, which means I cut Hubbard.

Not going to list players under rookie contracts except for JChase, extend, or trade.
Anyone not listed can play out non-rookie contract for now.

Must Keep: Burrow, JChase, OBJ, Hendrickson, Wilson, Pratt,
Not worth cutting: Sample, Karras
Worth cutting: Cappa $8M, Hubbard $9.6M, Rankins $10.5M, GStone $6.5M
Nice to have back: Davis-Gaither, Gesicki, Hilton, Rekhow, Adomitis
Extend: Dax, CTB, TAndersen (assuming fair deals)
Trade: Jordan Battle - Bengals clearly think he's worse than Vonn Bell.

Of course extend Ja'Marr Chase...

Let Tee go somewhere else and play half the games, too expensive for always being injured even if I love the guy when he plays. Add a
WR in FA and the Draft with size and good hands. Add another TE, I would keep Gesicki though as he has been a good pass catcher for
us when used correctly. All will be here, hopefully he comes back from the ACL on a mission, good player.

Keep Ted until Matt Lee shows something. Volson needs to be benched and need to add a Guard in FA and the Draft.

Extend Trey and even BJ Hill until we know Jenkins/Jackson are truly the answers. Draft another pass rusher early, this time one that is
not as raw as Murphy. Looks like we are going to need to add at least a couple Corners with CTB's struggles and Turner getting hurt.

Jordan Battle once again has been our best Safety and we have benched him for most of the year which is complete insanity.

I’m in the camp of trading Tee, freeing up loot, and applying this money towards fixing the D ….

Especially to keep up w Lamar’s O now!!

But if Yoshi or Burton are his replacements…

We are screwed on O too.

Can’t win Sad

If Tee goes I think the 1st round pick will be a WR. I also forgot to include Lee and Gesicki. They should give Lee a shot and move Karras to Volsons spot. I think the reason they haven’t yet is the center has to call the protections

The Arizona WR McMillan fits what we look for but he will probably go before us.

I like him too. Ive seen some Mocks that have Egbuka going to the Bengals. I really hope they can find a way to keep Tee so they can draft defense in the 1st round

I would keep Joe Burrow and build an entirely new team around his skill set.

Rather than who I'd keep I'd rather go with who I'd cut:

Cuts:

1) Sam Hubbard- 9.6
2) Sheldon Rankins- 9.5
3) Zac Moss- 3.5
4) Alex Cappa-8

savings @30 million

Free Agent Replacements:

1) Rb- Alexander Mattison and Khalil Herbert

2) DL/DE- BJ Hill and Chase Young

3) Guard- Tevin Jenkins

-These additions should be in the neighborhood of 30 million just replacing dead weight

Keep Burrow, Chase, Brown, Hendricks and the cheerleaders. Dump the rest.

I don't trust the FO/coaches to be able to draft well (Murphy, Burton, Carman, CTB) or fill a hole in FA (Stone, Scott, Rankins) so I would tend to hang onto guys who can play well.

Here's who is signed for next year.

O = 18
QB: Burrow, Browning
RB: C. Brown, Moss
WR: Chase, Iosivas, C. Jones, Burton, I. Williams
TE: D. Sample, All, McLachlan
OT: OBJ, Mims,
OG: Cappa, Volson,
C: Karras, Lee
---------
D = 21
DE: Hendrickson, Hubbard, Murphy, Johnson
DT: BJ Hill, Rankins, Jenkins, Jackson
LB: L. Wilson, Pratt, Njongmeta
CB: D. Hill, CTB, Turner II, Ivey, Newton, Robinson
S: Stone, Battle, Anderson, Anthony
-------
ST = 1
PK: McPherson
P:
LS:
----------------

FA's:
QB: none
RB: Herbert, T. Williams, Evans
WR: Higgins, Irwin
TE: Gesicki, Hudson, Grandy
OT: T. Brown, Ford
OG: Kirkland, Stueber, Smith
C: None
---------------
DE: Ossai, C. Sample
DT: Tufele
LB: ADG, Bachie
CB: Hilton, M. Wilson,
S: Bell
------
PK:
P: Rehkow
LS: Adomitis

Signed cuts: Rankins, Stone, McPherson (we lose money by cutting him), Robinson.

Maybe cut: Cappa, Hubbard, Moss, D. Sample.

I'd rework Burrow (+$20 mil), extend Chase, tag Higgins again & go from there in FA. Rankins and Stone are flat out cut for me, probably McPherson, too.

Open to bringing Hilton back if the price is right. Ditto ADG & Gesicki & Hudson. Would bring Ford back. Open to T. Brown as a backup/vet min guy.

Depending on how the draftcgoes, I could also cut Cappa or Hubbard.

Would like McMillan, good player with high upside. I like Egbuka for us better though, great teammate and is just as dependable as it
gets and think he will be just solid right out of the bat. Much more dependable then Tee with all his injury history.

Yep, Egbuka. Tee is gone man, unless he takes a major discount. Still, a rookie will be much cheaper and we have done well drafting WR's
in the past. Going to have to add to the Defense in FA and in the 2nd round is what I am thinking. Should be some really good WR's to pick
from in the 1st in this draft.

Get rid of Stone's dough as well Schroomy. I like adding Chase Young and Tevin Jenkins. Need to add some Corner help in FA.

And oh yeah, I forgot to mention Hilton in my OP, keep Mike for sure.

Egbuka is more of a slot WR and smaller than what we like on the outside. He's great but I don't think he'd be anywhere near out top choice. Guys like McMillan and Higgins(Iowa St)  and Trey Harris is guys I think we'd target(give us another big target for Burrow).

The bengals have one of the highest paid defenses (cap) in the NFL, 4th highest to be exact.

The Bengals also have the 4th highest paid offense.

This is a reflection on scouting, Director of player personnel, and lack of strategic structuring of contracts.

Teams with higher paid defenses, and offense spend rank.

Steelers (1) - 29th highest paid offense
Bears (2) - 19th highest paid offense
Chargers (3) - 28th highest paid offense
Bengals (4) - 4th highest paid offense

Teams with higher paid offense, and defense spend rank.
Rams (1) - 32nd highest paid defense
Chiefs (2) - 30th highest paid defense
Colts (3) - 15th highest paid defense
Bengals (4) - 4th highest paid defense

$132m on offense v $113m on defense.

How are they going to trade Tee? The trade deadline has already passed and he's set to be a free agent. I mean, I guess they could work out a "tag and trade" scenario with another team, but that team would likely have to think that Tee is worth that 2nd franchise tag value of around $26M AAV.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Could be right Pulses. We need a bigger outside Receiver. Egbuka doesn't really fit this as you say, really like the player though and I
am no OSU homer. Is Higgins related to Tee? I haven't been able to watch Iowa State this year. Trey Harris leads the SEC in Receiving
last I heard and seems to fit exactly what we will need.
