Donovan Jackson is that guy we'd like to see at LG. He even filled in at LT really well for several games until going down with an achilles injury for the year. Considering the severity of the achilles injury and him being such a large man, his draft stock may fall quite a bit depending on how well his recovery/rehab goes.
I also like the Swanson pick, however I could see a classic 3-4 team picking him up as an OLB.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

I didn't hear about the Donovan Jackson injury. (Only half watched the game while tailgating lol). I can't find anything either. I did see that Seth Mclaughlin tore his achilles.

You know, you're right it was the Center, Seth Mclaughlin. Jackson missed time early in the season with a hamstring issue. But yes, he's been playing at LT since the Penn St. game. That versatility will make him a very hot draft commodity.
Edit: And it's a shame about Mclaughlin, he was just announced as a finalist for the Outland Trophy this week.

Nolen isn't a bad prospect, but to me, a 1st round DL needs to be a pass rush monster, not a guy that's ok, but not not a difference maker. I've routinely seen him as the 4th-5th best DT in the class and can draft him sometimes in the 2nd.

I have a day 1 grade on Walter Nolen. Everyone will talk about how explosive and twitchy he is but what's impressive is the power. He consistently puts guys on skates in run and pass defense. That speed to power base profile reminds me how we talked about Jared Verse last year. I expect Nolen to climb boards through the process especially after his performance Saturday.

He does have good speed to power, but again not an elite pass rusher. I think that's important when taking a 3 tech after taking one in the 2nd the year previous. Either way, you're going to have a high draft pick relegated to a backup/rotation role for three years out of their rookie deal.
Overall, I like most of the players, but after spending 8 of our last 10 Day 1/2 picks on defense, I think this doesn't do enough to address the lack of developing talent for the offense. Depending on FA, our offense would be basically "Pray Joe or Ja'Marr don't get hurt."

There are no elite pass rushers in this draft class. Nolen does have the upside to be one though with a easy to project power profile. Excellent run defender that creates negative plays too.
Can't talk me out of Walter Nolen the tape is so good. Special talent.

Swinson is winning with good technique and hands. He isn't as long or athletic as South Carolina's Kyle Kennard but he wins just wins more often.

I'm totally game for this, Syn.
I've had my eye on WN for about a month or so, but I wanted to see how his production would come along after a solid 2023.
He's got another 2 (maybe more if Ole Miss makes playoff?) games still, but he's at a career high in tackles (40), TFLs (11), sacks (5.0), and PDs (3).
Mason Graham was my clear-cut favorite for IDL, but I've been trying to find a potential other guy who may be worth a pick in the teens if Graham isn't available.
I'm seeing Nolen climbing across multiple mock sites into the 1st round, some even having him as the first guy after Graham for IDL.
The "only" thing I don't like is waiting so late to address pass catcher, but I am assuming that's addressed in FA in some way.
I can't imagine feeling confident in the Bengals pass catching room without Higgins and Gesicki then only adding Savion Williams on Day 3.
Not saying I don't like Williams, but I guess more I don't like the other guys the Bengals have enough to help cover.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!

I was eyeing Graham or Kenneth Grant, but yeah, Nolen could be a great grab for us as well. Love the Donovan Jackson pick and I
am no OSU homer. Would be the perfect guy to send Volson to depth and Donovan has filled in well at LT once the starter there went
down. Swinson would be an awesome add for our pass rush opposite of Trey. Love the Kaleb Johnson pick, we need a RB besides CB
if Khalil Herbert doesn't step up.
Savion Williams would be a steal where you have him and I think he will be a great red zone target in the NFL.

I need to watch more receivers but I'm not a big fan of this class. Emeka Egbuka and Jayden Higgins are two guys I would like to see in stripes.

I'm not excited about the top of the WR class.
OTOH 3rd/4th rounds: Royals, Kacy, Stewart, Johnson, Horton, Felton, Higgins all look capable.

I'm with you on receiver.
There are a couple TEs I really like though and would be pumped if one of them was selected.
While All showed some promise, he has an injury history and wasn't overly dominant when he did play, so there's opportunity for another TE.

Ayomanor would be an intriguing pick in the 2nd, though he has some drops.
I agree, though, that this isn't a good WR class. With only 1 RB in the Top 50 prospects and 2 TE's, it's gonna get ugly if we go in needing an impact player on offense in the draft.

I haven't watched Kyren Lacey yet but from what I've read he's a physical route runner with a diverse route tree. Might be a good fit.

I really liked Oregon TE Terrence Ferguson. He was one of my guys early last year but decided to stay inside school for his TRUE Senior Season. Just a good all-around TE.

I don't know about player rankings yet since it's only November but Omarion Hampton should be around the top 50 especially for rhe Bengals draft board. He fits the spread shotgun and is a great pair for Chase Brown.

Walter Nolen with another big game to likely finish his season. Dude is so disruptive in the middle.
