The Official Bengals Board Fantasy Football League
(12-02-2024, 03:29 PM)kevin Wrote: You will probably be in play-offs again.  I've been in last place in this league a lot.  I needed this trip to the play-offs to redeem myself.  To those thinking Championship, I may not get there with you, but I think I've finally made it to the play-offs.  For my past years, that is a huge step up.

You put up a lot of points Coach McNeil.  I'm just lucky I had a a good week, because you put up points.  I just got Lucky for a change.  You know how it works, I struggled scoring last week, and scored high this week with mostly the same players.  Luck plays into this.  In 2022 and 2023, I had no Luck in this league, only bad luck.

I will say that I had a QB score a TD passing and a TD running on the same play.  Josh Allen in a fluke play is only the second player to ever do it, and the other was way before computers or Fantasy Leagues.  In the snow he threw it, and somehow in the snow it got batted back to him and he went into the end zone.  Collinsworth laughed about Fantasy points on that one.  He had Josh Allen and laughed at getting a passing TD and a running TD on the same play for Josh Allen.  A play that almost never happens, but you see strange things in snow games.

He threw a pass that was caught, and supposedly before his progress was stopped or a whistle was blown, the pass catcher lateralled the ball back to him. It's a glitch in scoring and a load of crap that he got two tuds for the play. The schedule and injuries led to some poor choices on my side. Hopefully see you again in a couple weeks.

Hard to put up 130 plus every week.

Collinsworth thought it was funny, and said he had Josh Allen in Fantasy Football.  It's only happened twice in NFL history, so it's mot really a huge glitch in the scoring system, Plus I would have won without the second TD he got on that.  I was just mentioning what a fluke play it was per Collinsworth.

Yes, it is! No player, especially a QB, should get a double score for a play like that. He didn't throw for a TD! He threw a pass that was caught and lateralled to him. He ran it in, he never actually threw a TD pass.

You won easily, this time. Perhaps it may be different if we meet again. And, if I had plugged in Bowers and Harris things may have finished differently. The game schedule and injuries/injury status reports forced me to play a couple of guys that I didn't necessarily want to plug in.

Bowers was on the bench only because LV never mentioned who was going to start at QB until almost game time.

I don't think I have to worry about winning or losing this week just gotta score enough points to hold onto the Playoff Bye Week.

Well I got lucky and got the backup RB for the injured Breece Hall to start in place of CMC, sure he is the starting RB but its for the NYJ so not sure it'll be better than waiver trash at this point  Hilarious

9 teams still in The Hunt last week of Fantasy Regular Season. 3 good teams trying to get a win and also play spoiler. Some teams are waiting until Sunday or Monday to pull a bye week player and move a bench player or a free agent in to start. Last minute moves hanging out there. Week 14 is going to be anything goes, and possible upsets. I had a good week last week, so that means I could take a beating this week. It's a tough league, and this is going to be an exciting Fantasy Football week. I'll have Bengals vs Cowboys on, but my laptop will be on Yahoo Site and The Tracker to see how my players are doing. I will be glued to Football. All 12 teams have something to play for, and all 12 are good teams. Anything Goes....I will be glued to Football on TV and Yahoo Tracker....Some teams have last minute moves coming to increase their odds, as they replace bye week or IL players to put up points.

I thought about adding him a couple of days ago when I knew that Hall probably wasn't going, but I have enough backs to fill the void. He'll go as Rodgers goes, as I found out after drafting Hall. One would think that a healthy Rodgers would have allowed for more goal line opportunities, but it has been the opposite. He throws a pick or three and the rest of the game script goes air raid. I'll never draft a RB on the team he is on again.

Wtbs, strong RB. If they stay within the offense he could have a decent day. A couple of goal line carries would help you a bunch! If the narcissist comes out and throws a pick right off the bat, you may want to change the channel.

This season has been a strange one for me. My top WR and RB have mostly been crap all season. Oddly, it's been the back half of my draft that has carried my team.

Yea probably should have seen a 40+ year old QB with an ego pairing with a dumpster fire organization not working out.

I actually thought they were going to be solid this year, especially the defense but seems like an obvious trap looking back.

Damn think I miss the playoffs on this one, could have started any other WR instead of Meyers and had a shot.

I get rfaulk on his best week of the season by far.  Hilarious

I'm not so sure you are out, but it's hard to tell. It comes down to Monday Night Football. Yahoo has projected points, but you can't go on those. It comes down to what points are actually scored Monday Night. I could be wrong, but I think there are ways you could still make it in. You and many teams are coming down to this Monday Night Game. That's a big game for this League, and shows how tight the race was in our league this year. Add in our Bengals are playing. That's a big Monday Night Game in Jungle Land.

I think Yahoo default is H2H then points but it appears that we are points #1. If that's the case, i think maybe Tecmo jumps you and Harley and Harley hangs on to #6. If it were H2H first, i believe Harley would be over you due to pts and you would get #6 due to your win against Tecmo in week 4.

I could be completely wrong though.

Tonights game won't help or hurt Bob. Looks like the only thing it will determine is who gets the #2 seed. If coach loses and we are H2H then pts, i would get the #2 seed from beating Kermit in week 5. If it's points, then he would get #2. I think CC is behind the 8 ball on H2H and pts so him winning this week wouldn't matter in the long run.

Tonights game won't have as much of an impact as how the tie breakers are set. Mikey boy or Bfine could tell us that info.

Tie breakers are going to be the biggest factor at this point.
