Bengals playoff hopes may very well be in the Kansas City Chief's hands

Shit drives me crazy. Our offense is SB worthy. Our D is a dumpster fire and would struggle to beat Ball State.

Oh Im well aware of it.  But basing it on how poorly he played when he did play the Bengals this year, I'm going with DTR as the easier one.

DTR was 11-24 with 2 Int before they put Jameis in

DTR is also a very good running QB.

Give me Winston if we want an easier win.

DTR was ass when he played this poor Bengals defense earlier this year.  Jameis wasn't good either so I guess we will see what happens

Winston was better vs us than DTR.

It won't shock me either if they do go 3-0, as their schedule is incredibly weak, but the Colts aren't some winning team themselves. Their two wins in the past 2 months have been one-point wins over the powerhouses that are... the Patriots and the Jets.

As for us... it's cool to see us still in the hunt and the path to us making it in isn't even that unrealistic. I absolutely don't want to be Kevin's opposite brother here and just be a downer, but there is zero I've seen from the Bengals defence all year long that makes me think we're about to run the table. Our defence has got to find a fire it has not had all year long for this to be possible, and I personally don't see it. They're a really bad unit. I'd love for them to prove different from here on out.

As for the title of the thread... I have no problem supporting the Chiefs if it helps us, and we'll beat them in the playoffs so don't have to root for them for too long  Tongue

well all 6-8 teams have flaws that is why strength of schedule tends to help these bad teams like the Colts, Bengals and Miami since they are inconsistent.  We have yet to beat any team with a winning record this year at this time, at least the Colts beat Pittsburgh, i actually think Giants will be the best chance for them to lose,  since it will played in NY with an outside game probably in the 30s.

Yes but DTR will be extra incentivized to showcase whatever he can to maybe get a look (perhaps a final look) for a starting position in their jacked up QB carousel.

He will be be bringing his A-game.

Even mediocre play shreds this D.

This is a huge game. The chiefs will rest starters to eliminate the bengals—believe that.

Anyone know if Burrow gave Stroud any advice?
Wouldn’t be a bad idea

Bad call, with that field position a screen is a bad call. Need 2 shots to the endzone

Someone said it in another thread I believe, and I repped it as fast as I could because it was just so accurate....

Mahomes is the Roethlisberger of the current generation. Dude loves to be "injured" so he can play anyway and get absolutely sucked off the entire time about how tough and great he is for playing through "injury". We saw it for years where Roethlisberger would limp like he's dying to the LoS, throw a TD and sprint 20 yards down the field to celebrate only to limp like he's dying back to the sideline after the celebration and just get gushed over what a tough competitor he is.

Mahomes acted like he was broken last week coming off the field. Everyone talking about how Wentz is going to have to start for them this week. Runs twice for 27 yards and a TD in the 1st quarter.

Yeah he’ll do that. He’s more akin to the modern day Tom Brady though.
Stats aren’t always elite but he has a great coach and has always been clutch for the most part.

I would say Burrow is trending like hopefully Peyton Manning.

Our staff/team needs to learn the 1st game of the year is just as important as the last.

We dig ourselves a hole every year it seems.
