I hope Orlando Brown Jr. is also good to go next week. Tee, too.
We need to be healthy as we can be to finally beat a good team.

On another note, Cody Ford has quietly developed into a fantastic 6th OL.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Yep, after all the failed OL picks, they finally found one that lived. The dude may not have elite level PFF ratings, but not giving up sacks and pressures means so much more in my book.

With Mims, Jenkins, and McKinnley Jackson, the Bengals may have finally hit on some of their early 2024 draft picks (Burton being the main exception in the first three rounds).

I believe some of our issues with draft picks is never playing them unless we're forced to play them, like Jackson and Jenkins, due to injuries.

Myles Garrett beat him like a drum on one play but other than that Cody wasn't bad today for the most part against a great one.
I like Cochran too, other than the penalty.

Amarius Mims is an awesome person on top of being such a great player. Love this guy.

Both Jenkins & Jackson are, by most accounts, supposed to be better against the run. Nice to see them get some sacks today. If both are plus players going forward, it really helps our DT room.

Was that it, or was he not wanting to be out there? He said in that clip he didn't want to be out there and put Joe in harm's way and Devin was ready. It's not a bad thing either way, I'm just wondering about that statement.

Jackson got his sack swimming on his stomach on the ground and not giving up on the play. Hard to believe someone called the kid a dud already. Both him and Jenkins Jr. started camp and the season coming off injuries. I believe both are going to develop into star linemen for us.

Those two are developing as well as anyone could have expected. Some on here cautioned the casual fans to not expect big stat production from rookie DTs, as the learning curve, as well as the physical developmental curve for that position is much steeper than for some others. I am satisfied with what I have been seeing from each of them, and fully expect them to be guys that we can count on going forward.

Funny, here in the UK if you were asked something and your response was 'No, I'm good'... that would mean something along the lines of 'no, eff that'. Would be pretty funny if Mims response was actually 'play for the Bengals next week? Eff that!'.
