He's for sure the absolute best QB in the NFL right now. He doesn't have the most wins for sure. But on the other hand, he's for sure the most valuable player for any team as well. I mean without him we're a one- or two-win team this season.

That's high praise from another one of the best in the NFL. It doesn't get much better than that.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Joe's definitely playing like it. Honestly, Lamar is seriously competing for that spot, too. They have both been unreal.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

High praise from 2 good defenders.

Maybe someday the praise turns into a great vet on their last contract signing with us to go after a ring.

Parsons will demand a boatload of money in 2025 (either tag or huge contract) so he is not that guy yet, maybe in 4 or 5 years.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

I can imagine how stoked Dak is to hear that

He is the best QB in the NFL. We are lucky to have him on the Bengals. Sadly it wont last too long if they dont fix the team around him.

Everyone knows that Burrow is legit. I've only seen sprinklings of people like whiny KC fans say that he's overrated.

The classic Bengals problem is getting proper play and management around him.

Joe has been spectacular and is shattering franchise records.

But Lamar is having one of the best statistical seasons of all time. He’s earned it this year.

And part of that is why this league is becoming unwatchable to me.

The NFL has devolved into a screen/dumpoff league. I'm guessing around 90% of the passes in the current NFL are 10 yards downfield or less. It seems that the only time that they throw downfield anymore is when there is a blown coverage and the receiver is wide open or to just throw it away. Troy Aikman said during the pre-game that he was excited to watch Burrow play against Dallas because he's the only QB in the NFL that throws to receivers with anticipation. That's because the game is dumbed down for all of the young QBs that are forced into the game due to economics more than anything else.
