If Atlanta cuts Cousins, he can play for just ~$1m from the Browns because he'll still be getting paid from the Falcons. That's a big deal for them with their F'd up cap situation, much how the Steelers and Wilson did for 2024.

I think Ward is the only guy who could possibly be a QB there for them at #2, and he has mechanics and drive questions that keep him from being a real sure bet or probably a day 1 starter.

They have the 1st pick in the 2nd round, so I would bet they grab a QB there to sit for a year behind Cousins. Potentially someone like Ewers or Milroe.
