Our QB isn't embarrassing
#1
We have a QB who prides himself on toughness. One that doesn't complain, beg for flags, or try to bait or manipulate the rules in order to draw flags.

We have a QB who would rather dive head first to get a first down than slow up on purpose, tip toe out of bounds, and then flop in order to get a 15 yard penalty.

After watching that Chiefs game yesterday, its safe to say that Mahomes really is a whiny little *****. The most unlikable QB in all of football. He flag baits, complains, and tries to manipulate the rules. It's more clear now than ever that he gets favoritcism from the league. I'd be straight up embarassed to have him as my QB.

Let's just be glad our QB does things the right way. We have the toughest player in the league leading the ship.

Allen is the same way: anyone catch last night on a failed Swing Pass, once his guy became a runner, that he got mauled and then Allen IMEMDIATELY turned to the ref to ask for a flag?

Rodgers was always the same way too, not so much the flopping, but complaining after seemingly EVERY pass.

There isn't officially a flopping penalty in the NFL rulebook. However, penalties for flops have been called before under the definition of unsportsmanlike conduct.

What Mahomes is doing is unsportsmanlike for sure.

I don’t want Burrow to start doing that crap but he does need to start letting the refs know about some of these missed calls (like the uncalled face masks that should have been penalties).
That’s what it takes to get obvious calls flagged in today’s NFL.

Moral victory for us. Meanwhile, BUF and KC play in the AFC Championship game this weekend

Either team is not winning the SB, IMO. Champs will be from the NFC.

ANYBODY but KC. If it is the Commanders JB may no longer be considered the best young QB out of LSU

It's a rule in the NHL and thy use it far too sparingly.  Guessing the NFL would be the same way.  They'd never call Patty for it.

The league just needs to get it's crap together and tell him it's either one way or the other. If you are going to want flags for hits while you're supposedly running out of bounds, then you can't turn on a burst of speed and get another 10 yds on the sideline because the defender let up because you acted like you were going out. It's ridiculous.

I just need anything but a Chiefs/Eagles rematch. I wouldn't even watch that.

28 and going into his 6th season? I’d say not.

Anyway, I’m disappointed nobody took a shot at his fashion stuff based off the thread title. Tongue

Oh my god, is Burrow the Jumpin' Jeff Farmer of the NFL?  We might not be playing in the playoffs, but we aren't gonna cry about it.

The last SB I watched was ours.  Unless Buffalo represents the AFC it will be the third one in a row that I've skipped.

Meh, I don't care about her one way or the other, tbh.  Never much cared for her music, but I'm not her intended audience anyway.  I skipped SB 57 and she wasn't even on the scene yet.

Yeah, lost a lot of respect for Mahomesurance yesterday. Slowing up trying to get a flag on the sideline like that shows his arrogant BS
that I thought was reserved for Travis and the swifties....

As much as a dislike some of Joe's fashion sense, he is a tough, classy dude that doesn't whine or cry. Joe is Joe, all about ball and he
sure doesn't flop or cry like Mahomes and even Allen does. I like Allen, but he does flop no question about it. That is embarrassing.
