Each year around this time I enjoy listening to Outside the Chains interviewing prospect and I'll share what I hear. Others please do as well.
Today the interviewed Olu Oladejo/ED/UCLA.
The kid was very articulate and PK really like how he interviewed. PK shared a "trick" he would use when interviewing prospects as a GM. About halfway through the interview he's ask 2 questions at the same time
For instance: You were great coming out of HS, what was the most important thing a coach told you in your football career prior to college and I also heard you really like to play standing up, just speak a little on standing up versus placing your hand in the dirt as an Edge Defender.
He said most will answer #2 first and after answering that ask you to repeat the first part. A kid who pays attention will answer both in order.
He also stated the more detail a prospect adds when asked to "replay a down" in their head means they have more "love" for the game.
