Chase about to be paid
#1
According to Schefter, Tobin said at the combine in Indy that the Bengals are preparing to make Chase the highest paid non QB in the NFL. Sounds like the deal is there. Wish i knew how to post Schefter's post.

Chase the money. Tee up for some more. Burrow in for your share.

Good on him, when’s enough enough though? Competitive beasts want to be the best so they are driven in all spheres I understand but **** me all they do is chase a football. No pun intended.
It’s a crazy world.

I'll be glad when the Chase deal is done and it's not a talking point anymore. He deserves to get paid and I want him playing with the Bengals for as long as possible.

The Bengals won't pay Chase, MB is too cheap.  Sarcasm

He might reinstate Chase, and other players, having to buy their own jocks after the Chase contract. Hilarious

The De’Vondre Campbell comments should prevent all NFL teams from giving out fully guaranteed contracts.

It was basically him saying I’m rich bi***! I do what I want.

Hopefully Mike hasn’t seen the comments or he may never give out a signing bonus again.

It was ridiculously close last year won’t go into why it didn’t happen but this time not FO fault.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Chase deserves to make bank, and sorry if it hurts chances to sign other players.. You do not skimp on the steak for a better side of green beans.

If the Bengals are worried, maybe make the contract longer, because in 5 more years, whatever Chase is making will look like a steal for top 10 production.

Sign Chase, then sign Trey.

Tee and Gesicki will have to be patient.

If they do that without making a 2 way deal with Tee, then I'd lay big money on Tee Tag and trade.

Rumor has MB saved the jock straps to recycle knowing this day may come paying a contract to a player that surpasses all contracts for any non QB in NFL history. Man MB is cheap.  Sarcasm

I agree Chase earned this contract.

But only time will tell if he stays healthy and earns every penny. I hope and pray he does, but people dismiss the hige risk on part of FO. It is a needed risk, but a huge risk.

It was absolutely their fault. They didn’t offer enough guaranteed money and it cost them. Same old story.

I bet Joe has made his restructure contingent on Chase/Trey/Tee getting paid.

Get those done. Get the restructure done.

Then Golden can make his evals (Hubbard, Pratt Stone, BJ Hill, Hilton, Ossai, etc) and we can decide how to proceed on D.

I'd be stunned if we don't take at least 2 DL's in the draft. Maybe 3. Also a REALLY strong RB/TE class.

Yoshi comments make me think they think he'll make another leap this year.

Almost always is but was not with Chase. They had agreed. Won’t go into it but blame the FO for 99% of the time but it was not the FO’s fault Chase was not signed last year.

Duke said yesterday that Chase or somebody changed their mind at the last minute, I’m telling you that an agreement was reached by all sides
