Jenkins; Never a Realistic Option

I'm a big Miami fan in college football. Lee was there. I don't know that Year 2 he's going to be a quality starting Center.

I think he's likely a career backup capable of starting when needed. Maybe he works himself into a starter via hard work over time.

The Bengals are so secretive. It would great to see if they are bringing in FA's for visits.

Interesting Jenkins left with no deal.

Maybe is asking price is too high.

Maybe a 5 million a year 1 year offer would land him. I would love to see him compete at LG with Volson and Ford. If Bengals did not see a fit due to his asking price, maybe they take a second look.

Good to know, maybe Jenkins is a realistic option for us?

I'm not big on the guy, but the one thing I can say is that he'd be a high ceiling buy-low(ish) candidate. He's young and has the physical tools. The type of guy that could be kind of like Trey here. Come in good, become very good and potentially very expensive.

He could also be Trae Waynes.

Or our worst FA signing in 2024 Rankins

Im guessing these teams backed off Jenkins because he valued himself too high. Jenkins is good but he is not great and certain not elite and he is injured often. The Bengals arent going to give Jenkins a big contract with his injury history. It doesnt look like other teams are willing to either.

Go figure. Scherff probably will end up a Raven, and Risner will probably be a Steeler. Would anyone be surprised?

Cool, I hope he wrecks his knee trying to block Slaton in our first head to head this year.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Less than the Seahawks were willing to pay, yet more than most teams were willing to offer. It's the Browns, you know how they like to waste money.
