My Top 4
#1
If any of these guys are available at 17 in order of my preference...

Jihaad Campbell -- great blizter and tackler which we'll need against the running teams of the AFC north. Great instincts.
Mike Green -- Pressure on the QB. We need a guy to get production if Henderson leaves next year. Would be a great rotation with Ossai, Murphy and Henderson.
Kelvin Banks Jr. -- He'd play guard at first and could flip out to tackle. Great pass protector. Let's be real -- we are a passing team first. Let's solidify the line to make Joe Burrow great
Walter Nolen -- Similar to Campbell in that we need a guy on the line that is a disruptor and he can run a bit too.
To each his own... unless you belong to a political party...

I am down with any of these guys, there are questions about all of them but there are with any Draft pick. I still like Starks or Emmanwori too
and I doubt Tyler Warren falls to us or Ashton Jeanty. We haven't met with Banks so I doubt he is the pick. I think we wait till the 2nd or 3rd to
go for an OL. I think Walter Nolen is the most likely leading up to the Draft, we have met with him a lot and he would instantly be our best pass
rushing DT.

All 4 are defensive picks.

Started out wanting Walker Edge
Then went to Campbell LB
And now I've added either Nolen DT or Emmanwori S

I have been all over the place, but feel it must be defense. The more I think about depending on how he is progresing after shoulder surgery, 2 savvy, smart and athetic 3 down lb's makes our defense better.

Campbell
Green
Starks

My 4th is either Booker or Donavan Jackson

Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!

To me the pick is OL in rd 1
Probably
Banks
Zabel
Jackson
In that order. But probably only Banks or Zabel if we stay put.

I get the defense needs the help and I really like
Nolan
Green
Jihad
Starks
But I just wonder how much impact these players have this year?
DT and DE will have limited snaps with the roster we have currently. Jihad will be missing time and most likely throw away his first year I also think there is value at all these positions later. So why not pick a position of need that will be in a position to start and you can have the pick of the best one you want. Its why I wanted a FA starter IOL before the draft. I don't want to gamble at position we desperately need by waiting until later.
