Looks like you got me Houndizzles this week. We were close, but my Yankees pitcher Warren got lit up by Dodgers hitters. He isn't a bad pitcher to have when Yankees are the team scoring runs, but Dodgers were all over Yankees yesterday. He went minus 30 points and knocked out of game in 1st or 2nd inning. Dodgers hitters were hot yesterday.

You're still in range and the days not over! Ts, they aired that game on FOX yesterday, so I watched it. The Dodgers were all over Warren yesterday. Muncy crushed 2 dingers and drove in 7 runs. The announcers did share a great stat about Warren being one of the top strike out pitchers in the AL, but not yesterday. I'm just glad that the 2 homers that Judge hit were solo shots.
I picked up Cabrera and plugged him in for 20 plus positive and Warren went -30 plus. That is the difference in our matchup at the moment.
Warren was bad for you yesterday, but Luzardo was much worse for DDs with a whopping -44

You went on to have an over 400 point week. You were too hot, and nobody was going to beat you this week.
I'm still for using pitchers. These fantasy teams afraid to have negative pitching points never get positive pitching points and always finish in last place. Anyway, you beat me by a lot more than 30 points this week. I'm thinking more of dropping Cubs Rea than Yankee's Warren. I don't see any Monday moves I like. I also have a few pitchers coming off IL and pitching any day now, some top pitchers when healthy. When they come back, I'll be forced to make player moves. The idea of getting these IL pitchers back such as Perez, Imanaga, Nola, Gil, Bieber gives me hopes for a great pitching staff to make play-off run. Ranger Suarez came off IL strong for me. Yankees Rodon is clearly my best pitcher, and I like having Clase as a reliever who for Cleveland may be the best reliever over the last 3 or 4 years in baseball. I'm glad I dropped Diaz and added Pagan, it seemed Reds were going in that direction. I have Judge and De La Cruz and some good hitters. Just trying to get my Pitching together.
You put up 419 points to my 304. 304 is no reason to blow up my team, you just put up a ton of points. Maybe I have a better team when I play you later in season. I'm 6-4 now, so that should still have me in the Play-Off hunt. It would help if I could win this week and get to 7-4. Dune Dogs is 9-1. You as Houndizzles and Ohio Guz are 8-2. Me and Bubbletrouble are 6-4. Tecmo is in it at 5-5. We still have June, July, August and September to go.

I had no fear last season and negative pitching points destroyed me. I was experiencing the same thing this year and had a losing record. I made it to .500 by trying to negate negative pitching points. Goes to show us that many approaches can produce results.

Damn! I havent looked at ESPN yet this morning, but I'm surprised that I ended up breaking 400. I had some stix going late. They must have hit the ball well last night. Nonetheless, we had a great matchup all week. The tide just happen to turn on Saturday. Still a ways to go with some guys getting healthy and others that will get injured.
Not even half way there yet! The league is pretty damn competitive. Six teams get in!

Several strategies can be pursued. I hate chasing pitching because it usually comes back to bite one in the arse, but sometimes it's a must. You just have to do your homework on pitchers and hope they go out and have a good day. Tough loss this week! You been climbing though. I definitely see a difference in the results. Like I said though, if it's a must win game and one is a good chunk behind, you almost have to chase pitching. Just be smart about it like you have been doing.
I needed to plug in a pitcher to catch KK on Saturday. I had two in mind. I plugged in Cabrera and it worked out. The other one I had in mind had a pretty good day as well, so it would have worked out either way for me, this time.

Yes, there are different ways to draft and play this game. However I've noticed the last place teams often have no pitching innings or pitching points on the season. That tells me you have to at least try to have a combo of hitting and pitching to avoid last place only 2 or 3 wins and a ton of losses.
I've drafted pitching heavy. This year I wanted to lock in my infield to go with Judge and De La Cruz and Closer Clase in Round 3. So I didn't start drafting pitchers until middle rounds. This is why I'm now taking a chance on all these IL pitchers on my roster who were not able to go in April and May. Ranger Suarez is already doing well off IL. Perez comes back next week, and when healthy he has Hunter Greene stuff. If I get Shane Bieber back around All-Star Game to Play-Offs, he is like a Tom Seaver. I like my hitters, and I'm trying build a pitching staff that I can like in 2nd half of season to play-offs. If I can get my Starters lined up, I will try to add a couple good 8th inning Holds Relievers to go with Clase and Pagan on Saves.
I'm very excited to see what my 6 or 7 off IL end up doing pitching. I like Fantasy because we each have different styles, unlike Ai computer mocks that are always the same. Human vs Human, each week is different, and that is the Fun of it. Same with Fantasy Football. Many ways to draft and win, Many ways to draft and lose. Injuries and Bad Luck play into it. I like that I am 70 years old, and I know the names of all the new players, unlike old guys still talking about Pete Rose or the 2005 Bengals. Thanks to Fantasy, I know new players of today, and at age 70, it's good that I keep my mind in today, not decades ago. So besides the Fun, I like that I know who the new players are in baseball and football. The time off from football to baseball is a needed break from my Fantasy Sports hobby. It's not gambling, and I've discovered I'm too cheap to gamble now that it is legal. I hate losing money, and I can save more than I could ever win simply by not gambling at all. Fantasy is enough for me. I went to local casino on Football 2 weeks when it became legal, and I really don't like casino's, I discovered. Housizzles and Tecmo and others in Fantasy I like, not casinos.
