Trey and Shemar can't relate since they won't be involved in a snap.  Ninja

Around this time a month from now, I start really getting excited about football again.
Right now, it's full on baseball and summer activities.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

I love NFL football. Soon all of our conversations whether optimistic, pessimistic or neutral will come full circle as the Bengals will get back to playoffs to the dismay of the naysayers or not to the dismay of the optimists.

In the end if our goal is to win the Super Bowl, our less than 5% odds to do so will likely prove the odds correctly. The Naysayers will say told you our FO sucks and the optimists will retreat and focus on all other aspects of the life more important than football,

Every team starts the year undefeated, but only one playoff team will end their season undefeated. I hope we win and if we do I hope we can remember to enjoy the journey, it was a roller coaster in 2021, totally unexpected but man what a ride.

Dang, your post reads to me as if you think those not favoring the Brown family/FO have no life and those more supportive of them have a greater life purpose and focus. What the hell?!  Hilarious

I can do two things: criticize the front office on a forum and focus on all the good parts of my life more important to me than caring about the NFL, Brown family, coaches, or players.

Yeah, it is gonna fly alright. This isn't far off this time of year when the summer is flying by while we are having barbecues, watching
baseball and other sports and drinking brewskies with family and friends.

Yep. It's a ridiculous stance to take. I can love the football team, look forward to game time and cheer my ass off, while simultaneously shitting all over the dumbasses that own and operate the team. I even do all that with fam and friends while watching games out on my deck which has been dubbed *Faulk resort. I can do all that because i couldn't give 2 shits about ever being the Bengals fan of the year.

*not really what it's called. I use my actual last name.

How did you get that out of one side wins and Bengals fail jump to I think they have no personal life?

Huge leap, wrong leap

It would be if that was the intent of the post.

For me, it’s immediately post-Super Bowl as I know the dreaded 7-8 non football drought is coming. I get BLAH.

Even the draft doesn’t spark much joy.

I start getting excited right about now; knowing it’s all right around the corner for my old butt as time flies now.

That's what you said. But it's not about you. It's anyone that thinks someone who complains about something must not be happy in their life.
