He throws easy gas . . . much like Castillo's fastball. Castillo had a vicious change up but his slider never looked anything like this kid's breaking stuff.

omg what a let down. When i'm watching the game, if someone hits a homerun, i hear the fireworks before i see it. I thought i heard fireworks before Mclain came up.

When he flew out, i realized it was just the neighbor jostling his garbage cans around to take them out. Hilarious

Terry Francona's managing style is player friendly, but in a different way than Bell's, who was always tinkering to get his fingerprint on almost every game. His confidence in CES over putting in the lefty Lux shows that he's much more of a sheepherder than a whip cracker. Most of the players are going to find their way to where you need them to eventually be without your help and a few will need a nudge or the occasional kick in the ass. This approach should result in a lot less mental stress on the players.
