Where's the evidence that Trey has the same impact?
Where did I ever say that a ED has the same impact as a QB?
YOU are the one who said...

Which is a silly take. Teams are paying EDs up to $40m/yr and it's not because they DON'T have an impact on wins and losses.

If Trey is playing and Golden gets this Defense back to tackling well and not giving up near as many explosive plays we should win at
least 11 games this season. Also I think our running game will be better with Peters as the new OL coach along with the additions of
Lucas Patrick, Dylan Fairchild, Perine and Tahj Brooks. Chase Brown should be even better this season as well.
Gesicki should have a much better season now that he has chemistry with Burrow. Expecting for him to get a lot of TD's.
Should be a fun year.
Right
I'm not very concerned with the offense, all things considered. It's the defense that has me and pretty much everybody else worried. And I know this for certain - no Trey isn't going to help this work in progress defense get any better.

As i said earlier, they have an impact on planning and can during games.
My point is, which i've been arguing the whole time, the Bengals aren't going to be 8-9 if Trey isn't here, while being 10-7 if he is.
EDIT: Whoops. a couple people actually said he'd have a 3 game difference this year.

You used Burrow as an example. That's why i asked the question.

You do understand that defense players also have impact on planning before and during the game,

What is Ola Ning?
I'm in a rush to get out of work and to the gym so i don't have time to figure that out.
My point has never been defensive players don't have an impact. I'll say it again.
Whether or not Trey is on the field this year, will not have a 2 to 3 game impact on the Cincinnati Bengals overall record for the year. They're not going to miss the playoffs if he's not out there, by the sole action of him not being there.

The Offense could be the best this season and I am not kidding, could be #1 overall Offense if we get even some semblance of a running game.
Joe was the best QB last season and he wasn't 100% coming off the wrist surgery. Ja'Marr is the best WR in the NFL, Tee is one of the best #2's,
Chase Brown shown he can be a 3 down back last season and is crazy fast, Gesicki is a 6'6" nightmare for Corners, Safeties or Linebackers etc.
If the IOL is better which I expect it to be look out.
Agree, the Defense is where the questions arise. We will see how much of an upgrade Golden and our Defensive coaches will be. I sure hope
our trench coaches are upgrades and I think they will be. Trey isn't going to lead the league in Sacks again pretty sure so I agree, he isn't a 3
game difference as Rfaulk says. The tackling just needs to be much better this season and it sounds like that is what Golden is really going to
concentrate on. More Preseason play for our starters needs to be a priority.
