Bengals Board Fantasy Baseball (The Show)

Add in that you also need luck that your SPs don't get hurt. This league has enough good owners that if you falter early it's good game, thanks for playing, and see you next year. It's hard to rebound and recover to become a winning squad.

If this were a money league, I'd not even participate as I'd only be donating to the pot.  Hilarious

You definitely need to try and have a good draft. That's important! Ts, there have been several solid pitchers that were added as we went along thus far.
Dogs added Burns and Miz. Guz added Peterson and a pitcher from Texas that have both been good. I added Kershaw and a couple of others that have been consistent. Dogs just added Junk, and that may pan out for him. KK has added a couple as well.

There isn't a lot of great pitchers out there right now but injuries will surely change that. Just gotta be ready if an opportunity presents itself.

I see a lot of pitching adds taking place when I'm asleep for daily SPs so that's just what it is.

Well, the smoke has cleared and the mirrors are about to shatter. After my best start in Fantasy Baseball, my team is about to come back to reality. My best hope to hold onto the division is ( no offense ) LOL.... Kevin needs to drop a game this week and I need to somehow squeak by Charleigh before I finish this season 4-4. That first round bye is HUGE when it comes to making a run at the Championship and we all know we hate seeing Houndizzle win another Championship. LOL... although the way its looking he will have a tough out against Guz with the way that team is firing on all cylinders.

I had the hot last week, cold this week Jinx.  .....So it looks like I will lose this week as of Sunday at 4 PM.

I was thinking the same thing about your last two weeks scores. That puts me squarely in the crosshairs this coming week and the exact same thing happened to me the last time that I played Brooks. I don't think my team even broke 200 points that week.

All-Star Game over.  We are back to full one weeks ending on Sunday starting today.  Still a lot of regular season weeks match-ups.

I just had a big win over always  in play-off hunt Dune Dogs.  He took only his 2nd loss on season.  Houndizzeles only 2 losses and 11 game win streak, and Ohio Guz only 3 losses  Tecmo at 8-8 on season is in position to make play-off run.  Battle of two teams at 10-6 as I play Bubble Trouble this week.  Tecmo with a win moves up on one of us.

Still a lot of baseball to go, and who will avoid injuries and be a HOT team gong into  Play-offs.  Once in Play-Offs, it's all about  having a couple HOT weeks in September.  Any team in Play-Offs can WIN.

So All-Star Break over, and now it's a run to THE PLAY-OFFS.  Here We Go.

DDs vs Guz this week is a big one! Playoff spots starting to be determined.

I've been saying for weeks I have a gauntlet to run these final weeks. 5 of the last 7 weeks are all of the playoff hopefuls and Guz twice.

Wow.  My pitchers are getting killed this week. Not all, some did well.  I had 3 All-Star type pitchers who went around minus 30 each. When you get minus 100 in pitching points by a few pitchers, it kills you.  Everybody has off games, but some of my pitchers better get with it.  If they aren't pitching well going into the play-offs, I'll go Captain Hook Sparky Anderson and pull them and replace them.  I'm going to lose a big week with also good record BubblaTrouble because some star pitchers got really clobbered after All-Star break.   Wow, that star Asian pitcher for Cubs tonight gave up 10 runs in 3 innings.  My Asian pitcher for Angels who was in All-Star game got clobbered last night.  Baz for Tampa got clobbered this week.  Combined they laid about minis 100 points on my team, and you can't make that up in the same week.

Imanasa, Kikuchi, and Baz served up batting practice.  Bad news for me, good news for BubblaTrouble.  It happens, but if the same pitchers keep getting clobbered for me the last month, I can't use them in play-offs

Houndizzles had a hitter set a rookie record of 4 home runs in a game last night.  This rookie looks like he could hit 30 homers or more also and is batting around .300 and so Houndizzlees may have to greatly consider him as a Keeper going forward.  Of course if he keeps hitting 4 home runs a game, I'll be glad to take him.  Another Judge or in his top years Pujols.  Houndizzles may just have one in this rookie.

If Tecmo wins Sunday, he has the chance to go to 10-8 and send me to 10-8, with Bubble Trouble beating me this week to go a game ahead of me, and suddenly this play-off race is bunching up with more teams in The Hunt in August.

I know I can't win this week. I'm watching what pitchers do today Saturday and Sunday. Yankees Stroman already dumped who was on the bubble, as I saw him walk in a run with bases loaded.  He doesn't have much on trying to come back from injury, and never was an elite pitcher.   Pitchers on the bubble going for me Sunday.

Judge is now on short IL for me. That is a huge loss, hopefully temporary.  I moved Judge to IL and moved Gil to active due to pitch soon. IL Bieber not far from pitching again.  If Bieber and Gil come back for play-off push, that helps me, and Judge hopefully not out long.

So Tecmo will catch me short handed. I'll do best I can against Tecmo.  I have to watch all my pitchers close.  I have to cut some pitchers now, with Judge out and Gil and Bieber coming back.  The pitchers not getting the job done, combined with not having much of a season.  Who to Keep and Who to Cut is going to be crucial to my play-off hopes.  Bubble Trouble has me beat going into Sunday, and I'm looking ahead to Tecmo, but I have so many other things going on with my team as I try to work this stuff into a play-off roster.  Baz got clobbered last outing, and if Reds tee off on Baz Sunday, that may be the end of the line for Baz on my team.  Tough choices coming.  Some pitchers will have to be cut to make room for Bieber and Gil back, and I need more hitting.

Anyway, our Play-Off race is tightening up.  More teams are in the Hunt as Bubble Trouble and Tecmo catch me struggling with Judge out and me trying to get things adjusted.
