The is my only comment on the Stewart negotiations. 

As more information came to light and other agencies and team FO employees coming out saying thr Bengals weren't wrong thr blowback started ro push on Stewart and his Agent. It looked bad for both their businesses.

Bosa held out for 30 days, Shemur for 3 days. I call it fan drama and in the end meaningless. He is here and now he is like every player trying to make and be a great NFL, starting from scratch as college stats now become meaningless.

I still think blame lays equally with both the Bengals and Stewarts camp. More of the signing bonus was what they were asking for the whole time and assuming with such a minimal amount pushed forward that Stewarts camp decided to just get in camp and move on. I dont think them coming around makes them the ones at fault as both sides were fighting equally. Its over now and we can put it behind us for now.

It was one of the dumbest contract disputes I've ever seen, particularly for a rookie.  Both sides look petty and stupid, but at the end of the day I think a put a slightly larger part of the blame on Stewart's camp.  The agent hurt the player in this case IMO.

Blame for what...players hold out occasionally..they negotiate..things work out ..sometimes they dont..this is the NFL

1000%.. the stewart issue was a bunch of nothing.....just fodder for fans that like to complain and overreact... and sports writers that are overzealous about everything.........hope you are feeling better and recovering from your recent surgery

I do think the agent is equally at fault and I don't disagree that he hurt Stewart atleast marginally. But he was asking for more signing bonus earlier the whole time as a concession to the default language. We dont know what percentage was talked about but it had to be larger than 500k or the Bengals would look terrible. Ultimately the agents biggest fault in these negotiations is letting his frustrations leak to Stewart but if the Bengals aren't willing to sit down and negotiate at all than not sure what answers he has for Stewart. 

Also of note is while this default language is more common now. What percentage of the signing bonus is paid out to players at signing from the teams that implement the language? As this could of in some ways tied the agents hands because you want to get the league average for your client.

Lamar jackson threw 41 tds last year, joe threw 43. Pretty even.

Again... Stop it. Zay Flowers would be in the discussion as the second best WR on our team. If nothing else because he's usually more available than Tee Higgins. It's ok not to like him cause he plays for a rival, but just say that.

Aint no way you think flowers is even in the same stratosphere as tee higgins.

And i dont like him, ill admit that. But the numbers speak for themselves. 1k yards and 4 touchdowns as a #1 is a sorry receiver.

Actually, tee higgins last year had more touchdowns in 12 games than zay flowers has had in his 30+ game career
