We all mistakes including our great QB Joey B.

Is it me, or can Tinsley jump very high?

Great night for rookies Brooks and Stewart.

Nice Block Wrap block on the motion by Tanner McLachlan on the Tahj Brooks run. I can't tell if he's picking up a DE or LB though. Volson must have had a good block on his pull too but you can't see it.

The Growler guys were commenting that RBs are being used differently than in the past. They've seen Brown out wide with one of the other guys in th backfield. Brooks has played fullback for Brown. Brown and Perrine both setting screens on opposite sides on the same play.

The pass-catching ability of both Brown and Perrine will be tremendous. And add the blocking ability of both Perrine and Brooks and we've got a backfield. They noted that in Brooks they have a guy who can back up both the role played by Brown and the role expected to be played by Perrine.

Evan McPherson has missed his last 3 long kicks...all from well over 50. All were wide right. No one kept track of the LS at the time, but also noted that Rehkow seemed to still be a bit slow on the hold

Zach's football brain must finally be turning on. 2 TEs? A TEXwho can catch AND block? Is that even legal? Splitting a RB out wide? 2 RB sets? A FB!?

Now if we had a couple IOL who could run block, we'd be set.

Is it possible the former OL coach focused too much on pass blocking versus run blocking? We have to keep Joe upright, but why can't these huge OT's become great run blockers. Maybe Karras strength is pass blocking and why we signed him as a FA, but hopefully the 2 new guards can become better run blockers in 2025.

I don't know the numbers, but I don't think Brown or Mims graded out as elite or maybe not even excellent run blockers either.

I'm happy Fairchild is having a good camp but on that play the OT took out the feet of the DT which caused him to fall.

Zac was the TE coach at TAMU. He’s always loved TE’s. He wanted Sam La Porta bad. But Joey B affinity for WR … he’s always had 2 premier ones ( LSU & Cincy) just went with the flow. Joe if he could be protected would be 00 personnel as much as possible. Zac loves Eric All. They had a ton planned for him.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

That is fair. And the truth. I will retract my ZT criticism here.

Did you go to the scrimmage yesterday? For anyone who did, these questions:

1) How did Fairchild & Patrick look?
2) Did we play nickel on D or was there 3 LB?

Like ZT said, it is early. Too early to read much into stuff yet at camp.

Is anyone else concerned All's career is over due to missing a second year after the injury? I hope not, but it is not a good sign he ever plays at the level he did prior to the injury. I hope I am very wrong, but very long recovery for a knee injury in 2025 as they have made huge strides on knee reconstruction last 15 years or so.

I’m in Oklahoma. But planning on a Paycor visit the first time this fall. Went to MetLife & Jets a couple of years ago got to go on the field. Visited with Joe Mixon. Even I was shocked Mixon was 2025 #6 RB on Madden lol.

Contrary to popular belief, mixon is a super nice guy. Ive met him twice and both times he was super down to earth. Saw him at Kings Island with my little brother who was like 9 at the time, and Mixon himself asked if we wanted a picture. He was super nice to my little brother
