How dare you question this!

I'm sorry sir. Mays is actually pretty incredible. The fact that he can play both LB and S means he could open up a free roster spot.

And man...what an amazing athlete. Did you see his forty time?

Better?  Smirk

Seriously though, why?  Why in the hell would you even entertain this thought as the Bengals?  They cut him to make way for.......another guy they just cut.  You already KNOW what kind of turd he is, coupled with a suspension now?  That's flippin' insane that his name was even mentioned.......not to mention STUPID.

Wouldn't it be swell if we kept the roster as same as possible?
Especially the fringe bottom roster guys.

Yeah - because those fringe bottom roster guys are the reason we are losing those first round playoff games.

This might make sense to have LB depth while Burfict is suspended.....but Mays is out 4 games....why? Just why?

they certainly don't help.
Those are the guys easiest to improve.

Getting better there means you can rely less on the top of roster guys.

The fact that we had NOTHING on the DL behind Geno/Carlos didn't play a role?

Oh okay.

Maybe we could bring back Bratkowski, Nate Livings and Roland too.

Well the Cowboys thought high enough to give Livings a big contract. That shows that he's a good player. Ninja

Terrible move. Did nothing in the NFL. He's not good. Deaft Killebrew or Deione Jones. They're better and don't injure their own players.

I want nothing to do with him. Terrible signing if they bring him back and it's a waste of money.

I feel like it shouldn't be a big deal because they probably won't make the roster, but how many years have we been saying that about the May's, Tate's, and Simms of the roster..... And sure enough come cut day.....

Taylor Mays Ah the guy that could cover a TE HURRAY!!!

SUPER MAN IS COMING BACK!!. every team needs a man in a cape.

Seriously though... This would be for a backup Saftey Spot and special teams. and most like a camp deal to see what they have. Gotta think Dennard is moving up to an Active role and Mays can take gunner duties back.

There is no reason to bash this signing unless they give him way to much money... And lets face it.. we dont do that often with players.

Which means he wont count against a roster spot for 4 weeks so its kinda smart to have that emergency guy in case something happens early.

Just. Find. Players. Who. Aren't. Bad.

And Subway's about as average as you could possibly get for a sandwich, but, fresh is better

But we don't know them...they don't know our complex system that no one else can possibly figure out.

So why not save our precious cap space for someone who can help right away instead of using it on an in case of emergency guy who wont be available for 4 weeks. Funny thing about emergencies; they can happen even at the start of a season.
