When I think of Dwayne Bowener I always recall that game against the Steelers when he was with the Chiefs and he jumped up to catch a ball but decided to keep his hands pinned his sides (I think he was doing his "flipper" impression and/or planned to catch the ball in his facemask?) and the ball sailed over him and into the hands of a Steelers defender THUS saving them the indignity of losing to the Chiefs' 7th-string QB.

That's just embarrassing.
You can always trust an dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to look out for.

Clearly all bums since they were cut, amiright?
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

Not a chance. Had 0 TD catches in 2014, then was signed by the Browns and promptly was invisible. We aren't in need of an invisible WR. We need someone who can actually do the job at hand.

Don't recall calling anybody a bum, simply stating there are quite a few big name LSU receivers looking for work. No offense.

For the right price i would bring him in.. im not going to hold it totally against him playing for the Browns. they were a mess last year totally... he is a possession WR.. had decent numbers in 2013 and 2014.. so worth a look at the right price...

The guy isn't a possession receiver, he is a no show receiver. Guy is non existent when he is starting.

So I guess Sanu in 2014 without Jones did not exist ?
Sanu numbers: 56/790/4
Bowe numbers: 60/765/0
Not a great amount a difference... Bowe has had a solid career... if he wants to come in for a low offer I am fine with that... Boldin would be better to replace Sanu but I am thinking he will still want 5/6 million a year.

Actually an invisible receiver would be pretty damn cool.
Have Dalton throw to a spot and he would be un-coverable.

If he signs for the vet minimum, sure bring him in. Camp body is a camp body and he has to be more useful than Tate at WR.

Looks about as interested in playing football as I do wearing a steeler jersey...that is to say, not at all. Watched him just jog routes on more than one team. No way do I want a turd like that just drawing a paycheck. I would take guys like James Wright and Mario Alford instead.

True - but was there ever a good WR that was a DNP-coaches decision on a team like the Browns?
I can't believe a crap team like that with no other viable WRs would sit a guy that they were paying $11 million per year.
But then again, its the Browns.

Yeah but this guy wants him to give hand jobs. I guess being visible is a requirement.
Sheesh picky people.
