COWBOYS are On The Clock
#1
RD 1 PK 1 TENNESSEE TITANS- LAREMY TUNSIL/ OT
RD 1 PK 2 CLEVELAND BROWNS- CARSON WENTZ/ QB
RD 1 PK 3 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS- JALEN RAMSEY/ DB

RD 1 PK 4 DALLAS COWBOYS
The Cowboys can go a number of different ways with the fourth pick, ranging from quarterback to cornerback to defensive end to running back. The biggest need arguably will be cornerback, with Morris Claiborne struggling, Orlando Scandrick coming back from major knee surgery and Brandon Carr in the final year of his deal.

DEFOREST BUCKNER/DE http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/deforest-buckner?id=2555275
Buckner has the body type of a classic 3-¬4 defensive end who can control the point of attack with length and power, but he has above average pass rush potential for that position which figures to push him into the early stages of round one. Buckner has similar power to former teammate Arik Armstead, but is a much better pass rusher and has a chance to become a dominant force in the NFL.

JOEY BOSA/DE http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/joey-bosa?id=2555249
Body beautiful college end who has the talent and upside to play with a hand down or standing in the pros. Bosa might not have the pure edge speed to be an elite pass rusher, but his hand usage and ability to generate push as a bull-rusher should make him a very good 4-3 base end or a 3-¬4 outside linebacker. Bosa has a few more flaws than some may be willing to admit and his upside might be good rather than great, but his traits and growth potential as a player make him a safe selection.

JARED GOFF/QB http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/jared-goff?id=2555334
He has good size, an NFL arm, advanced pocket mobility and the field demeanor of a franchise quarterback. His accuracy and decision making will suffer from occasional lapses, but he displays the tools to become a good starting quarterback with time.

MYLES JACK/OLB http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/myles-jack?id=2555329
Upper echelon explosiveness with the desire, speed and aggression to find his way into play after play. While UCLA asked Jack to do a little bit of everything, an NFL team is more likely to simplify his tasks and set him into attack mode to maximize his outstanding physical traits.

VERNON HARGREAVES/CB  http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/vernon-hargreaves?id=2555299
Hargreaves has a level of suddenness and explosiveness in his movements that should always have him near the ball. With top-notch ball skills and exceptional instincts that drew praise from Alabama's Nick Saban, Hargreaves possesses the football makeup to become a Pro Bowl cornerback.

EZEKIEL ELLIOTT/RB http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/ezekiel-elliott?id=2555224
Elite, three-down running back who has the ability to excel in every facet of the game. Elliott has rare combination of size, athleticism, pass-catching and blocking skills and his competitive nature is always bubbling on the surface.

I went with Bosa. Hardy is out and Gregory is just one immature step away from being out for at least one year.

I went with Bosa also because of the DE need. Although any of the top defensive picks could work, I could also see Elliott being a good pick for them but I doubt they'd take a RB that high.

Went with Bosa, they could be crazy and go with Zeke, it is the Cowboys afterall.

Hargraves does not have top 5 physical ability. I think he falls further than many think.

I went with Elliot. Productive, and flashy. Win win in Jerrys world.
It's easy to see the world in black and white. Grey? I don't know what to do with grey.

Then he'll be a steal to what ever team picks him. I watched several of his games this year and the kid can play, future pro bowler.

Bosa. No defensive ends and Bosa would be a nice addition

On offense I'd agree with you. No legit #1 WR, no legit QB imo, some good line prospects and Elliott is solid. That's about it for top half of the first round on offense.

Defense looks pretty solid with tho Jack, Ramsey, Bosa, Hargraves, etc and that's with sure fire top 10 pick jaylon smith being knocked out due to injury.

Elliot is very tempting here. Behind that offensive line he'd easily be rookie of the year. BUT they have McFadden and just signed Morris. I doubt they take a RB this high. Bosa is a perfect fit.

Not really.

Ramsey and Jack are arguably the best players and have a ton of upside. Bosa is someone who seems like will get more pressure than sacks, but still a valuable player. Thorw in Hargreaves as one of the best CBs to come out in recent memory outside of Peterson. Throw in Tunsil.

It's just after the top of the class there's a drop off. The QBs aren't exactly the best, but still pretty good. The WRs are also good for teams that are looking for second options. And it's a deep DT class.

There's a huge lack of edge rushers sadly.

Boys have Gregory (yeah, suspension) and Lawrence.

I think they'd take Jack.

I went with Elliot. Even though their pass rush is in dire need of help JJ's eyes are like saucers as he stares at the closest thing he's seen to Emmitt Smith since his retirement.
