Dansby is starter material. We got a huge steal when he basically narrowed the market to us almost immediately after his release. And especially compared to Lamur he is a huge upgrade.

I think many things will be revealed starting April 18th when everyone reports for strength and conditioning workouts. One of the most telling thing about a professional athlete is their commitment to conditioning. Questions around who will finish out the LB roster will start to be answered. Right now, here are the questions. 1. Will a different Dawson show up at Camp? 2. Did the surgery and year off for Flowers heal up the one body part that a LB uses on every tackle, the shoulder? 3. Will Luc lose the 10-15 LB's he gained getting fat on the PS at Miami and NO? 4. Is DiManche a different and more seasoned player? 5. It's been commented that Roach has a high FB IQ and can play both Mike and Sam. Can he start to pull ahead of the others after a full year on the PS? 6. Will the Bengals draft an athletic OLB that can contribute right away? With Burfict's suspension, I think 7 LB's will make the 53 Man Roster (not including Burfict). Once he returns, then one or two LB's will be waived. It's going to be an interesting camp.
