The news has it that Johnny Football loves getting stoned in Las Vegas but Las Vegas has had enough of Johnny Football. He is getting the football boot from Casino's up and down the strip for being stoned. Now if you are too stoned for even Las Vegas, that is pretty stoned.....The news also says that at the rate he is going he may not be alive to long, literally cashing in his chips in Las Vegas. .......I wish him well on a possible life saving recovery, but he is as far from playing in the NFL as the Earth is from Neptune. Consider this Browns top pick gone, and move on.......amazing his was the top selling football jersey when he was drafted. People wasted money on those things.

Could it be just a coincidence that Johnny Manziel began his decline just after Marvin Lewis crushed his self esteem by calling him a midget? I think not.

Meh, the guy is a high-profile loser but he's still the son of a Texas millionaire and he played in the NFL. He's still so much more awesome than me that it hurts.

Yes... But I think you are quickly closing the gap.

Don't sell yourself so short. Manziel is riding the highway to hell and I assure you that he's far from a happy fellow.

Wait..This is all part of the script. Johnny Football hits rock bottom only to stage the greatest comeback in sports history and begin writing the book about how anyone can come back from being a total ******* and loser to win back to back to back to back to back to back superbowls with the worst team ever..
Country music will have songs titled, Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Johnny Football..
You're all just too cynical..
On the other hand..even I never got kicked out of Las Vegas and I really tried.

Evcen when he hits rock bottom he can return to College Station and be treated like a king.
plus he comes from money so he will never end up on the streets like some former stars.

Dude planned a family outing for the Memorial Day and then didn't show up. Reports were he was found in a nightclub.

That's a serious problem when you can't even make it to family outings......especially ones you planned. I felt from the get go that he would be an epic failure in the NFL due solely to his piss poor attitude, I had no idea the troubles ran this deep. I hope he gets the help he needs before it's too late.

I must be in the minority hoping he just never gets his act together and ends up with a long stretch in the pokey..
He's been offered more help than 99.99% of us ever get and keeps on being the turd that he is.

No, you're not alone, I can't stand the little arrogant shit. Jail may just be the help he eventually gets. That said, I have compassion for my fellow man, even if I can't stand one.....my comment was in regards to his well being and not winding up OD'd or shot.

I feel bad for the guy. Addiction is not a fun disease.

I've started to pity Manziel during this offseason, starting when Rosenhaus gave him that ultimatum and Manziel couldn't even clean up then with his career clearly in the balance. He's fully in a spiral. Of course, it was easy to see this coming when there was pics of him with rolled up dollar bills in a bar bathroom last year.
It's weird though, I've known lots of addicts over the years and none of them act as carefree as Manziel does when he's partying. You'd think that somewhere in his head - even through the booze and coke, etc - that something would tell him it's not a good idea to let random dude's snap selfie's with him, etc.
It just seems at times that he doesn't have a conscience or that he enjoys partying so much that he doesn't even think of the consequences. To say he's not on a good path is an understatement.

I wonder if that's part of the college mindset. People party with athletes, take pictures, hit the bong with them... but because their community has some barrier from the real world, that stuff usually doesn't go public. It's more of a student life thing. But when you get to the NFL, that's out the window. There's web sites willing to pay for a picture of you partying with a first round quarterback. Even if there's no money involved, there's still that five seconds of fame for being the latest anonymous guy in a TMZ piece. And those people don't have the connection like the athlete's fellow college students or members of the organization.

Good point. He seems addicted to the campus lifestyle as much as anything else.
He's 3 years removed from College Station though. At this point he just looks like an entitled brat with zero self-awareness or empathy for any family/friends he may be hurting.

In some odd way I almost feel sorry for him even though it's very slight at best. Here's a guy who had the world by the tail and just pissed it away. In a wishy washy kind of way I can see why he might want to drown his sorrows, but on the other hand I think to myself.. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy and kind of enjoy reading about his implosion.
Kind of sad so many people are attracted to these things. It's about like people who just can't help themselves to be snapping pictures when they witness some horrific event, but wouldn't bother to help if it meant missing out on getting the great picture of some old lady laying on the street bleeding to death.

I think he likes what he's doing. He's addicted to that lifestyle, not so much the actual drugs or drink. He's a lazy, wealthy, entitled brat. He didn't need football, and it shows.
