Yeah, right.  Nothing helps a team more than getting penalties and making the refs even more mad at us.

Fred, I agree with you.  But Marvin's body of work in 13 full seasons has netted zero postseason wins in seven trips.  Whatever he is doing is not working when this team needs a win the most.  

Now is Marvin's temperament the sole reason as to the lack of his "big-game" success? I don't think so, but would you not agree that whatever he is, or has been doing for the last 13 seasons has not been working in terms of parlaying regular season success into a championship level team in the postseason that can actually secure wins?

Something has got go give here, and I for one believe a coach with just a little more in-game fire may make a world of difference, because Marvin has proven for over a decade that he just can't propel this team/franchise any further than week 17.

And screaming has zero to do with being a good coach.  Guys lioke Dungy and Landry won multiple Super bowls without squealing on the sidelines.

Off topic and just out of curiosity, do you ever agree with anyone?  I feel like you're here just to argue with people.  Not saying you're a jerk or anything, and maybe just playing devils advocate ALL the time, but it just comes off as someone pissed in your Cheerios

That was me, dude. I can, indeed, confirm that when Fred eats his Cheerios every morning he's also slurping up my piss. What he's getting when he goes to the honey nut is NOT safe for the forum for me to say. 

In all seriousness Fred is pretty funny, helpful, and good guy in the Klotsch threads.

Fans of teams with screaming crazy coaches also claim that their team is disrespected by the refs.  Squealing and crying does nothing but make the refs madder at the team.

Anyone who has ever coached at any level KNOWS you have to let the refs know you are present sometimes, you have to stand up for your team.  It makes a difference, ask ANYBODY.

No one, according to the sales of that last video I was in. On a lighter note, I recall the overall attitude on this board being that we wouldn't replace Marvin with Jim Harbaugh for a zillion dollars but here we are lamenting the fact that we don't have a coach who flails around like a rabid ape.
