His route was to find the soft spot in the zone, which he did. Dalton threw it straight to a defender and even if Eifert would have ran there, which would make no sense, he would have been destroyed.

He needs more time in the pocket. The throw was not good because of that. As far as where it went I don't think it's fair to blame him or eifert. Looked like a miscommunication, not surprising when he just got back from a several month absence
