I know a city officer who arrested him for his famous neckbrace mugshot and he said, " I had to, he was out of control"
this man never learns his lesson, he still owes money from a club shooting

Cincinnati shouldnt put up with this.

it should be good how took a solid minute for every page to load for some unknown reason. But I for one don't want to have a secondary with wjiii as our number 1 corner

Bottom Line is he needs to be cut, end of story and move on and do what you need to do to fill the void.
Lets be honest he's not a shut down corner and is usually flagged every game for a penalty. Also lets not forget his antics in last years playoffs.

I think Jones should go. He and Burfict feed one another in a bad way. It would send a strong message to team. Besides they could then be motivated to draft Hooker! ?

Say DreK doesn't resign, WJ3 wouldn't be top corner, it would probably be Shaw, Dennard and then WJ3.

Hooker is a safety, cutting Jones doesn't really affect those plans.
That being said, I'll wait and see before I make a judgement. Jones claims he has a bunch of witnesses that will clear him. If he's not 100% cleared and waived of wrongdoing by the police - he's gone.

Hooker is one of those DBs that can help CB cover and is a difference maker at FS.

Jamal Adams with our pick. LSU safety....the next Sean Taylor. Dude is a ballhawk/ box guy. But with Marvin, we dont draft those guys, the steelers do.

I like the guy, even though he puts himself in some incredibly stupid situations, but the guy needs to get the axe.

To me, it's obvious why the team hasn't acted on anything yet. There are major financial implications to be considered, and waiting to see if the league takes action is one I'm sure they're interested in before cutting him. That seems to have significant impact on the cap hit. That's the business side.
Now if it is proven that he is totally innocent, and by that I mean he was set up and none of this ever should have happened, then the club should stand behind him 100%. I know - what are the odds? However remote, it's still a possibility. Another reason to be patient with the process. But even with this, Jones' innate ability to keep himself associated with such things has worn thin.
I really have enjoyed watching him play, have joked around with him at fund-raising golf tournaments, and see the respect he does get off the field. I wish him well, and will miss his football contribution to the Bengals. But his days are numbered, and I'm more than okay with that.
Some say you can place your ear next to his, and hear the ocean ....

Jones is one of those guys who gets on the police shitlist and every little thing becomes an issue for better or worse. I've known a few people who get on those lists and get busted for relatively nothing so everything looks like a huge deal whether it is or not. I also know police will quite often pile on charges that never actually happened like throwing s**t at the wall to see what sticks.
I wasn't there and don't particularly trust the local news people to report in an unbiased manner. The media smells blood in the water and are looking for a feast. Right now Jones is wounded with plenty of sharks nearby. We'll see how it plays out.

Quote:Video from the officer’s car, obtained by TMZ, show Jones repeatedly cal officer “a b–tch a– ni—-” and seeming to try to intimidate the officer.
“I hope you die tomorrow,” Jones said. “You’re gonna be out of a job tomorrow.”
The officer is not out of a job, but Jones might be soon. The arrest in and of itself was a strike against Jones, who has a significant history of off-field trouble. But when a player’s bad act is caught on video, it makes it much harder for a team to ignore.
There’s also the reality that Jones will turn 34 this year and has a $6.3 million base salary that the Bengals can clear off their books by cutting him. Although Jones started all 16 games in 2016, the Bengals may want to cut him purely for reasons related to age and the salary cap.
So regardless of how the legal case against Jones plays out, it wouldn’t be surprising if he has played his last game in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Police Department probably wouldn’t mind that.

CB at #9 is looking more likely.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
