Lets be clear Engram is not a TE he is a hybrid receiver specialist who should never be asked to be a primary blocker.  With that said he is a special kind of player that does one thing really well.

we typically run with 4 TE's not to mention Jake Fisher which can play both ways.  Our success goes dramatically up when Eifert is receiving and having another big bodied guy can only help us in red zone success.   I don't know if this is the answer, but I do like guys who offer something special.

I do like the guys receiving ability looks like Mike Evans as a tight end the way he goes gets it,I just think he would probably suck as a blocker,if we go two tight ends, our blocking won't be good, maybe they strictly line him up at receiver or something.

Just use him as a WR. I would like to get Cooper Kupp but if he's gone this kid may be a nice runner up.

I really don't see the Bengals drafting a guy too small to block effectively in the NFL. I mean, what is he? Is he a big slow running back that just happens to jump and catch well? Is he a big slow WR being cast as a TE in college? Anyway, at 6'3" 235#, I can't see him effectively blocking as a TE (something that the Bengals demand), and they don't run nearly enough of a dynamic offense to utilize him as a receiver.

He isn't your traditional blocking TE. More of a Jimmy Graham type. He is a mismatch for LBers. I'd love to have him on the Bengals. But, what round and at the expense of not addressing another need?  I think he is a no brainer in the 4th round. But, in the 3rd round the Bengals might be better to address a need.

He is basically a big bodied WR who lines up at the TE position or split out. If you want a TE to block in short yardage situations he isn't the TE you want.
