From Chicago Tribune:

"Golf? He can drive a ball more than 300 yards.

Bowling? He regularly rolls in the high 200s.

Baseball? He was the shortstop on Western Springs' Little League state championship team in 2007."

Also before football, his passion was tennis and he was VERY good....

OK, but can he kick?

LOL

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

It's hard to regularly bowl in the high 200s.  And it's a directional thing, like kicking.

The talent just isn't there for OL in this draft.

Besides.  K lost us more games than OL last year IMO

Lol ......

Look, they drafted their Oline future over the last few years. And for better or worse they are riding that train. This season will be a make or break year for some of those guys and there is only one way to figure out what is REALLY there. PLAY THEM. The talent simply wasn't there in this draft to target olineman. So in turn what do they do? Oh you know, just turn their ho-hum offense into a dynamic one. I know Yawn what else? Oh just reinforce the dline in hopes to restablish a pass rush to go along with a pretty solid lb core and secondary. Get a new kicker that could very well plug a hole for a decade plus? Why???But yeah, maybe we should have grabbed an olineman that more than likely isn't any better than what we already have......

Yeah, I think its the fact that he excels at everything he takes on that's impressive.  Even more impressive, though, is that he ALREADY has kicked 55-yard field goals under pressure.

Now THAT is impressive.  :andy:
Bowling stats indicate his score dancing skills.

Whether or not they get 1 late-round Olineman, is not going to determine how good or bad this draft is.  Rolleyes

Bowling.... Eh... I know they occasionally show it on ESPN but ESPN also shows poker and the spelling bee. Doesn't exactly make it an "athletic" feat.
ESPN about to air a portion of Joe Mixon's introductory presser

I agree , they are going to go with their tackles for sure.. center was the position i thought maybe but what i read that it was a crap shoot for centers probably after 2/3 round .. so probably a 4/5 round center is not much difference.. As for guard, they have one veteran in Johnson that has experience and can play center/guard.. they have a 4th rounder from last year in Westerman... i still think they draft one or two linemen in 6/7 rounds.

The Texas A&M guard and Florida State tackle off boards, boom, boom....starting to be a run on O Linemen....Pick 176 is looking far away.....There were 2 top kickers. ....This is too long a wait for O Line

Gee I wonder why? I'm sure there won't be any condescending talk at all  Whatever

Actually, it was a 56-yard field goal and on the road at FSU.
I hate when my favorite prospects go to our rivals.
Smith-Schuster and Dobbs to Pitt
Siracusa to Balt
Rod Johnson to Cle
