I'm going out in a limb here and saying we will be throwing Dielman's name in that group as well. Not pleased with this pick at all. But I guess he's not Bodine so... He can't be much worse.
Literally every pick at this point in the draft has perceived deficiencies. Go back and look at guys who worked out and many of those Gus based on scouting reports fans would hate. It's not up to us and reading reports its what the coaching staffs see they can work with.

At this point the Cincinnati Bengals should probably just drop offensive lineman and hope one can makes the practice squad.

Had they waited until rounds 6 or 7, forget about it....I think IIoka was a pick 5, so you can find talent in 5.....wasn't McCarron a 5.....I want to see ESPN highlights of him. ...A MUST NEED PICK....
Yes, you can find talent in the 5th round. A man called Tom Brady went in the SIXTH round. But, Kevin, Mr. Dielman is no Tom Brady. I think we could have found better value in the 5th round than this guy.

CBS projected him as a 4th rounder so seems he was a guy that people may have been split on.

I know. When it comes to the OL, that's what worries me.
I know it's a crapshoot at this point but he's widely seen as a 7th round prospect. Wasted pick here

What??? That's crazy talk! There is no value outside of olineman! Just ask Kevin.

You are not a good judge of talent and this draft will prove it.

I agree. At the end of the day we are talking about 5th-7th rounders, so most, if not all will be a work-in-progress type no matter what.

All that statement does is make me think we should ignore CBS' projections. 4th round for Dielman is just crazy!!! I think 7th round or FA makes some sense.

Some of the methods these teams are going through to announce their picks are ripe for savage parody.

It makes sense they go Orlosky or Hodges next.

Without Whitworth and Zietler that's bound to change

Not sure how that statement has to do with judge of talent, but cool story.

Why? Because you say so? CBS has been pretty solid over the years so I'll put more stock in there opinion versus us board members who watched a couple games.

In pass protection they have been decent, in the run game? Not so much.
I think we should be better this year though in the run game if Andre and Boling can stay healthy.
Both of these guys are good run blockers.

We're Bengals fans, it's kinda our thing.
