Bengals road to 53 man roster complete 2017 - cuts, trade, IRs
(09-02-2017, 03:47 PM)RoyleRedlegs Wrote: Clint Boling
Kyle Cook (was good pre-injury)
Andrew Whitworth (was labeled a guard or RT only pre-draft)
Jake Fisher is looking like a potential plus.
Trey Hopkins

The problem the team has is with identifying talent in the collegiate level.
They draft guys who don't belong. And no coach will do that.
Part of that is on Alexander.
Part of that is on the team for asking a coach to do that.

I just want to point out you had to add Kyle Cook as "good", and also listed Hopkins (1 career game played, 0 started) and Fisher (2nd round pick with 4 bad starts in 2 years) in order to pad the success rate of a guy's TWENTY-THREE YEAR tenure as an OL coach... and still only came up with 5 names.

Nothing is official yet. Jim O also just tweeted that there could be two more mild surprises to come. Maybe Clark is one of those?

But did they develop thanks to the coaching of PA or in spite of the coaching from PA? I really don't know, nobody does... But what I do know is that PA has an annoying habit of hyping up subpar players (Ghiacuc, Nate Livings, Dennis Roland, etc) like they're only a play or two away from being pro bowlers. His eye for talent is... Shall we say "suspect" at least.

Brandon Wilson cut. Hmm. Wonder who they try to get to the PS.

This. This is a sign there is no way to actually engage in a debate with you because any success you will immediately deny is from him and all failures are his fault.

It's a useless debate from here out.

No major surprises. I suppose the "surprise" cut would be Clarke.

Wouldn't be surprised if we weren't done yet.

I see. So rather than even attempt to show me where I'm wrong you're just throwing in the towel. Gotcha.

I literally listed guys who improved here in Cincinnati compared to the collegiate expectations.

Your response was "it wasn't the OL coach"

How is this on me?
